The city was quiet as it slept, the clear night sky looking down at the city. A young girl with long golden brown hair, bright emerald green eyes and pale marble skin sat on the roof of the local hospital staring at the quiet town. Hugging her knees to her chest, resting her chin on her knees, she floated deep in her thoughts. The sounds of leaves crunching behind her perk her ears, straightening up she called out without turning around,
“Who am I? Do you even know?” her voice echoes softly into the quiet air, a deep voice answered behind her that sent chill down her spine,
“No, I don’t, and does it even matter?” he replied studying her as she stood up gracefully, turning she looked at him standing at six feet and a couple inches he towered over her, with dark black hair, hazy gray eyes and olive skin. The moonless sky made it a bit difficult for her to make out any distinct details on the boy’s face, but something about him seemed vaguely familiar. Police sirens wailed in the distance as a smile tugged on her lips,
“Looks like they found my master piece.” she giggles, her eyes glowing a slight red, he looks at her medical gown dark blood spots splattered on the chest and smiled.
“We should get going now.” He suggests as the waling sirens get closer, nodding she turned to the roofs edge, standing next to her the boy steps back running forwards jumping in a high arch. Landing in the trees he jumped from branch to branch landing at the base of the tree , looking up he motioned down.
“Come on, I’ll catch you.” He calls up to the girl, looking around she stepped onto the edge and jumped down close to the buildings wall digging her nails into the bricks guiding her to the ground, landing on her feet he looked at her obviously impressed and muttered,
“You’re a psychopath.” She looks up at him her eyes gleaming brightly as the sirens finally reached them,
“I prefer creative.” She giggles as he grins.
