My life ended on the 5th of December. My BFF Yasmin died. Best friend forever my ass. I could probably get over it if it were an accident, but in actuality, Yaz was stabbed 47 times in her sleep. What kind of sick bastard does that? Yaz was never mean or cruel. She was the sweetest person ever. I'm not just saying that, she really and truly was. I loved her like a sister. Our lives were supposed to be perfect. Unfortunately life got in the way. Seriously though, life's a real bitch.
It's been one week since Yaz died. I'm still crying, still broken. Don't worry though. I'll get back at them. I can see it in my mind's eye you know. I can imagine ripping their fingernails off one by one and squeezing the jelly out of their eyes. I swear I'm not a psychopath, its just that this dick killed my bestie. If I climbed in your bestie window and stabbed them 47 times, you'd be understandably pissed off. It's just your brain wanting to extract revenge. It's natural.
Yaz and I would been best friends since we were born. We have been inseparable from the very beginning. Now that she's gone, it has given me a lot of time to think. Lucky me. Unlucky murderer. I may not have figured it out yet, but I will soon. The doorbell decides to ring then and distract me.
'Elena!' my mother calls,'Its Ashley. Are you coming down?'
I smile in spite of myself,'I just be a second!' I am down the stairs in a flash. There is is so much excitement in me I could explode.
