Long ago, there lived six goddesses of terrible beauty and power. They lived before the Titans, before the Olympians, and before the world. They had come to a universe from places beyond, and they were in charge of making a place to put living creatures.

The six sister goddesses banned together and found a small planet they all agreed on experimenting. Using their powers, they each created something to bless the planet with.

Stability, the first sister goddess, created earth.

Indecision, the second sister goddess, created water.

Passion, the third sister goddess, created fire.

Comfort, the fourth sister goddess, created air.

Love, the fifth sister goddess, created spirit.

Chaos, the sixth sister goddess, created evil.

Surprised at their youngest sister’s choice and fearing for their newly created world, the five elder siblings decided to banish Chaos to a star underneath their planet’s universe. The sisters decided Chaos could never return and locked all of her creations in a large vase. The vase was hidden within the clouds, stowed away with hopes that it would never be found and the contents would never be released.

Tired with what they had already given the world, the goddesses decided to name it after what their eldest blessed the planet with: Earth. The sisters created beings like them but not as superior as them, which they called Titans. They gave the Earth to the Titans and told them that they would always be watching.

Several hundreds of years had passed, and, despite what her sisters thought, Passion continued to visit Chaos in the world underneath Earth. The sisters warned Passion several times, but she would not hear it. The four remaining sisters felt so threatened by Passion and Chaos’ friendship that they using their power to turn Passion into what she gave to the Earth—fire. She was split into half, half of her was sent to the place where Chaos resided and half was sent to the temples in the sky for the Titans to look after and protect. The sisters warned the Titans that if fire was to reach Earth, it would cause great harm to the planet and anything on it.

The Titans grew anxious with the task of keeping fire in the clouds. They let power get to their heads and created the Olympians, who were not meant to be their superiors. However, as told in classic Greek mythology, Zeus was able to disrupt the power of the Titans, resulting in him becoming the “sky god” or “god of gods.”

Zeus allowed Epimetheus and Prometheus to create all life on Earth. Epimetheus, according to legend, gave all gifts to animals and left nothing but bear skin for the humans. Prometheus, feeling bad for the humans, stole the fire from Olympus and gave it to the humans—one of the sister goddesses’ worst fears.

As a punishment to man and Prometheus, Zeus ordered Hephaestus to use earth and water to create the first woman—Pandora. She would be able to get away with any kind of behavior because of the males’ fascination with her.

When Pandora was given to Epimetheus, Zeus gave her a vase he found in the clouds. He knew what was kept inside the vase and told Pandora to never open it. Out of simple curiosity, one of Pandora’s god-given gifts, she opened the vase. The evil that the five sister goddesses stowed away had been released back into the world.

As hundreds and hundreds of years passed, Stability, the eldest sister goddess, grew weak for reasons her sisters did not know. The second she passed, her sisters sent her memory into the sky as stars. However, because memories fade over time, a star would occasionally fall from its place—a shooting star. To make up for losing memories, Love, the fifth sister goddess, blessed the shooting stars by granting wishes humans made while looking upon them.

Chaos was not happy with her sister’s death, but she was angered even more by her siblings splitting Passion in two. As the Love, the most adored sister goddess, blessed the shooting stars, Chaos cursed them.

“If thou seek vengeance upon a memory, thou shall receive thy revenge.”

And in cursing falling stars, Helle was created.

Hey all! I put Horse Ears on hiatus so that I would be able to work on this story which was inspired by a friend of mine. It's very vague right now, but it's just the prologue. (; I'll probably upload the first chapter tomorrow or later tonight. Please tell me what you think so far (even though it's not much, haha)!
