I left Kevin at his house and ran back to the soccer field. I know that James passes by here on his way home. We need to talk.

"Hey! Acosta over here!" I yelled. He looked up at me and walked over. He was bruised. I wasn't surprised.

"Hey look-" he started

"Save it. It's my fault. "

"What?"

"Yeah but don'tworry about it. I'm gone."

"Wait. What are you trying to say?"

"I'm leaving. Not gonna bother you or your girlfriend no more." I said looking up at the sky.

"You can't leave."

" sure I can. Nothing here for me. I got Kevin yeah but he's fine without me."

"Wait that's all your concerned for? Kevin?  What about me!?"

"James you got what you wanted right? Your girlfriend, your family, and you got to mess with me. Isn't that what you wanted?"

"No look-" he started again

"James I don't need this. I just came to tell you that your problems are going away." I said. I jumped over the fence and left running.

What? No this can't be happening. She can't leave. I get mad and then this happens. Honestly I don't even know why I was so mad. I just saw her and him and I just exploded.

Thoughts of her leaving just piled up. Rain drizzled on my way home. My phone buzzed in my pocket but I didn't look at it. It's just Kaitlin. Honestly I don't remember how we even got together. She drives me crazy. I swear. Last time she kept texting me. I just threw my phone against the wall. She's thinks way to highly of herself. She doesn't care for anyone but herself. She is way too proper. I can't be myself around her.

I could with Casey. Casey was caring and nice but still tough. She didn't care if I was dirty. She didn't care when I laughed loud. She understood what it was like to be a guy because in a way she was one. We used to be in a group of friends. Her being the only girl but she was the toughest. She was the the most loyal. She was strong and fast. She was also smart and funny. I kinda just fell for her. She loved competition. That's pretty much why we let her join the group. Then one day she never came back. I talked with her on the phone but it didn't feel like enough. We then just kinda stopped all together.

Later on she texted me but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I got rid of her contact information and blocked her. I didn't read the texts. I just deleted them. I guess that was the problem. I tried to forget about her.
