Hi, I'm Carly. I am 12 years old, have long brown hair and I am sort of the crazy, outgoing one of the group. I like to be fun so I'm writing a creepy yet hilarious book called "Attitudes Must Change" It is about a girl who has a very bad attitude which makes her sister mad. Her sister hysterically pretends to kill her but because the girl thought she had to change and couldn't she commits suicide or at least that's what they thought. It's a really creepy book.

It's 3:05 right now as I right this. School is so boring I just wanna go outside and go home to do the stuff I want instead of what my teacher is making me do. Tonight is the dance. I can't wait to go and see all my amazing and awesome friends Abby, Aleya, Sierra, and Jess.

I have Jess and Abby off the bus and we immediately get ready for the dance. Once we get dressed, straighten our hair, eat and after Jessica does back handsprings all over my basement we drive to the dance. When we get there we walk inside and right away see Aleya and Sierra.  We run and give them hugs as if we haven't seen them in forever, even though it's only been about 3 hours.

As I walk in my favourite song is playing. "Sorry" by Justin Bieber. I immediately start singing but I soon stop as a cute, blonde haired boy walks by. I thought to myself, "Omg he's so cute" and then all of the book writing club asks who. I guess I accidentally said it out loud. They all looked around the whole Lions Hall trying to figure out who I was talking about.

"Uh it's no one, I guess I was just thinking out loud"

"Sure you were, I know there is someone here who you think is cute." Jess teases.

That Sounds like a normal thing Jess would say. But I didn't answer and just changed the conversation to what song we should request. We request "Can't feel my face" just for Jessica because we know how much she "loves" (hates) that song. We taunt her the whole song and I can tell that she probably hates us for doing it.

The first slow song comes on and Jessica finds her bae Ethan. He's a short blonde haired boy who plays hockey and always wears a hat. Sierra finds her ultimate crush Ben. He's a boy who has short brown hair and who is a quite a bit taller than her. And Abby and Aleya find their people that they always dance with, I don't know their names. I just sit there waiting for someone to come ask me to dance. I wait through the whole song and no one comes. Until the next slow song.

Everyone else dances with their usual people. Again I wait but it's only five seconds later when a cute blonde haired boy came over to me. He asked me to dance and it probably sounded really cheesy cause I said yes so fast. He was slightly shorter than me but I guess everybody usually is. We talked and he's really nice, his name is Colby and he plays hockey.

The song ends and all of the book writing club runs over to me.

"Is that the guy you thought was cute?" Says Abby in sort of a aww that's cute voice.

"Ya, I mean no, he's no one just a friend." I say, but I can tell that they know I am lying and that I think he could be more of a friend, but not this fast.

I dance with him the rest of the slow songs and I found out a lot more about him. He seems like a nice guy, and I guess I can admit I didn't  really know him as a friend before but he is my friends, friend and ever since the first time I met him, I have had a slight crush on him.

After the dance I go home, pick up my iPad and start texting on the group chat.

Me : Dance was fun
Jess : Ya it was
Sierra : You are only saying that because you danced with Colby
Me : ...I never said that...

And then everyone went quiet. I knew that what Sierra said was true but I didn't want to say it. I put my iPad down, turn on the tv to Netflix and watch "Pretty Little Liars". I start writing my book and finish 6 chapters by the time the show was over. I publish all six and go to bed, thinking to myself that today was a good day... More like the dance was a good time.
