That Train Ride

I sat In a chair starring out the window wondering Why..why did this happen out of everything. I sighed and continued to look out the window.

"Katie..?" A little voice Called out

I turned around to see it was Prim.

"Yes little duck?"

"What's going to happen now?.."

"I......I don't know."

"Am I going to die?"

  "No,no Prim. I'll make sure with my whole life that you won't die." I assured her. I was going to protect Prim with everything I had. It be better for her if she survied instead of me or Katniss. She is the yougest after all.  It's like looking at a baby rabbit compared to two wolves. Me and Katniss know how to survie in the woods and live on our own, but Prim doesn't. She's also hasn't live long as me or Katniss, so I want to see her grow up. Even if that means I'm dead. Hopefully our mother will be there to help Prim. She'll live in Victors Village. So she'll be okay.

        Prim walks away to go find Katniss. I haven't spoken to Katniss this whole trip. I don't even know if she's okay. I decided to get up and go check.  

"Katniss? You in there?" I say as I knock on the door.

"Yea, I'm in here..." I hear her sigh.

I open the door slowly to see her curled up on her bed. I walked over and sat right next to her.

"What's up Kat? You all right?"

"No.. I'm not at all. All 3 of us got picked. How am I suppose to live with myself if Prim or you dies.. If both of you die.. I'm left with nothing. I can live on nothing." 

" Oh Kat. I wish I could say everything is gonna be okay, but it's not. I want both of you to live. But sadly only one can live. I'm hoping it's either Prim or you."

" If only one can survie, I want Prim too. She's so little and delicate and I know you would want that too. We need to protect Prim. Keep her alive."

I nod. I need to keep both of them alive but I know Prim needs more then Katniss. Our words fall silent until we hear the yell of Effie Trinket to come into the kitchen.

I wonder were Prim went, I thought she went to go find Katniss....

Short chapter I know, But I havent updated this book in forever and I couldnt think of anymore ideas for this chapter. Sorry. I am currently writing drafts and ideas for other stories. So bare with me, and my lazyness to write.
