Stella's P.V.O
7:45 a.m.
I parted from my friends tucking my skateboard tighter under my arm as I tried to jog for the closing doors. Just as my hand reached out they closed with a strong click. I threw my head back, looking up towards the large round clock above the door then down at my phone.
"It's two minutes fast." I announced letting my head bang against the cool glass.
I clicked the large red button pressing it till a buzzing noise started. "Come in." A nasally voice greeted. Noah pulled open the farthest right door holding it open for Sam. I made my way in front of Zack laughing as I walked under his arm.
We all headed towards the office staring at Prudence through the thick glass panel. She slid it open rolling away from her desk so she could pull out her late list.
"Good morning Prudence." Sam let a smile slide across his features as he looked her directly in the eyes. "Do you mind letting our little time error slide. We both know time runs a little fast around here." He let the side of his head fall against the glass panel.
"It's Mrs. Johnston to you, but if you make it to your first period class on time then no detention." She smiled.
Walking through the gates of hell I headed down a hallway towards my locker, breaking apart from my friends. I rested my hand on the top of my bag keeping it from swinging as I walked. I took my lock off of with a click. The motion of the metal door brought a small gust of air onto my face.
I spun on my heel heading for the back staircase. I didn't bother picking up my pace to get to Wilson's class. I let my eyes wander over the projects covering every inch of the math wing. Dragging my finger along the bottom of the board the cool metal warmed with my touch.
I hesitated before walking into class, taking a deep breath. Just as I reached for the handle to door swung in. Mr. Wilson had the collar of Max's shirt firmly in his wrinkly grip. He never even took a second glance at me as he dragged Max out, switching the grip on his shirt to his ear. I stepped in and everyones attention was on me.
I gave them all a wave and they turned to look down at their phones. Someone rammed into me before I even had the chance to take another step towards my seat. My bag flew off of my shoulder hitting the ground with a thud. Jack brushed passed me, pushing my shoulder a little to steady his balance, heading towards the kid waving him over. "Asshole." I shot after him getting on the ground to reach for my bag.
"What did you just call me?" Ali questioned from over me.
I looked up to find the sweet smelling blonde's pointy nose in my face. Her perfect curls brushed my cheeks making them itch. "Wasn't talking to you." I snapped swatting her away. My ring caught her perfectly tanned cheek scraping some of her flawless skin off. She yelped like a wounded animal her perfect manicure touching the small cut.
"You, you! You Bitch!" She shot out springing out of her seat at me.
She landed on my back and my arms gave out a the surprise attack sending my head into the white tile floor.
