"Numbers 105, 96, 147 and 84, please step into the main dance studio, everyone else may leave now." Jess announced, she was one of the youngest to actual teach here.

"LAURA WE BOTH GOT CALLED!!!!!! OMG, WE ARE GOING TO SCHOOL HERE!!!!!" Rio was always the one to get really excited, we both dreamed of being at the auditions together, winning the scholarship, basically we were inseparable.

Coming to VCAS was a dream come true but honestly I also liked it where I was now too. Nobody bothering me, or getting in my way. Except for Rio!

"As you all know, we only allow students who are amazing in the arts, whether acting or dancing here. But unfortunately, we only allow 3 spots for scholarships and 3 out of 4 you ranked with the same overall score. Although I won't the you who it is, principle James and I was going to ask if anyone of you had not put their entire heart into the audition or was generous enough to give their spot up?" WHAT?!?! All of us just stood their with blank faces, waiting for something to happen.
"Of course, we obviously don't mean for you to all give up your spot or decide straight away, Jess wanted to make it clear that one of you wont be getting the 40% scholarship. That's all, and thank you for coming here today."

"I'll do it, I'll give my spot up, if it means that they all go to their dream school, it's ok. I'm perfectly happy to stay at my school now. Although I won't know what to say to my mum when we get home," clueless, I look around to see who said that, but when I see everyone staring at me I start to freak out. "I mean, I really want this spot and all but....." I start to trail off. That the hell is happening to me. Why  am I saying all this. LAURA THIS IS YOUR ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITY, YOUR MEANT TO TAKE IT NOT GIVE IT AWAY.

"Laura, shut up, this has been our dream since forever. I'm not letting to throw it way like this. If you're not going then I'm not," now Rio's pissed. Not only was she told that she may be picked from 4 to not be getting a scholarship but her best friend is going to bail on their master plan.

"Thank you, Miss...."

"Laura Jones."

"Miss Jones, but if you would like to have a little chat with me after everyone has left I would like to talk about next year auditions. If they were as amazing as this year's then you would definitely be getting into this school."

"Of course," what? What is there to talk about. "That would be lovely." Gag! I can't believe the words coming out from my mouth. The sound so fake.

The cool crisp air blowing outside helps soothes the heat rising inside of me. I told my mum that I was going to catch the train home and get so fresh air.

"Mother, I'm home." Gosh, I feel like I'm about to faint.

And in a flash, I collided with a table. And fainted.
