"But mommy, why? Why don't they wanna grow up? Being a grown up is so exciting." Six year old Danica said, as her mother read the story of Peter Pan to her.
"Because, they don't want to have responsibilities." Her mother answered Danica's question.
"Mommy? What are responsibilities?"
Danica didn't understand. She had always dreamed of the day she could walk down the isle, get married, buy what she wanted because she was simply was an adult. But she didn't know the other part of it. The reality part, which no one liked. Especially her mother. Matter of fact her mother dreaded it, and wished she had never grown up.
"Adult stuff."
"Like grocery shopping?" Danica asked.
Her mother gulped the air and said,"Yah, let's say grocery shopping."
"Ok mommy." Danica said, waiting for her mother to continue Peter Pan and Wendy's adventure to NeverLand, where they Never had to grow up.
