"Let's do it, yaar"

"Mandira can we have sex, please!" I watched Shah Rukh saying this dialogue in the movie My Name Is Khan to Kajol. The dialogue aroused my feelings inside. I saw Suhani my wife coming with two cups of coffee in her hands. She smiled at me and sat next to me. We were both watching the movie. I saw her fully concentrating on the movie, but she grabbed all my concentration. I looked at her from top to bottom and a mischievous smile automatically captured my lips. Each sip of coffee was making her lips look more delicious. I wanted to have them and shifted closer to her. I stretched my arm to wrap it around her, but I didn't have the courage so, I kept it back behind on the couch. She didn't notice my deeds, I guess.

"The coffee is hot, have it.", she said looking at me. I smiled and bent down to pick my coffee mug which she kept on the table in front. I purposely made sure that I get a bit closer to her while picking up my coffee mug. She didn't react. She kept on looking at me all that while. I pretended that I was ignoring her, but all my attention was on her. Her hair was tied in a loose bun, clutched with a clip. They were smelling good, I must say. I have never said that but I really find her beautiful. We've been married for more than a month, but we have never got close to each other yet. We had decided that we will give each other time, but my urge to have sex was increasing day by day or I should say night by night.

Whenever I look at her, I just feel like grabbing her in my arms and make her mine, but I couldn't. It was so easy to say that Suhani, let's wait for some time, after all we have to spend our lives together. But to waive that off was so difficult. I don't know how do I say to her that Suhani, Let's do it yar! I don't want to wait anymore.

"I love SRK", she said smiling looking at the TV.

"and I love you.", Oh shit! Did I really blurt that out! I... I... don't know why did I say that but that was true. I really in love with her.

She immediately turned around and looked at me. Her eyes were wide opened and her expressions showed that she was embarrassed. Her lips parted to say something, but she stopped.

I moved closer to her and kept my palm on her cheek and she looked down in reflex. I could see her going crimson.

"Vishal... I... I...", She was blushing so hard that she couldn't even complete her sentence.

I trailed my fingers on her soft cheeks and then shifted her locks behind. She shrunk at her place, I could see that clearly.

"Suhani, its been more than a month now, i... i... think we should... Let's do it, yaar." I said that finally.

She looked up at my eyes. Gosh! Those deep eyes of hers. They were very beautiful.

"Vishal, do.. what?", she asked. I know that she was pretending. She understood very well what I meant, but these girls, they never miss any opportunity to bluff us and we fools, we knowingly behave like an idiot in front of them.

I left her cheek and clutched her hand in mine giving it a soft squeeze. It was cold. I know she was getting numb in front of me. Any girl, who has not it before would get numb if her man asks her for sex. Suhani is indeed not an exception.

"I am... I am...", oh god! What was wrong with me? What was taking me so long to say word 'SEX' in front of her? She is my wife after all. I can say it. Yes Vishal dude, you can do it. VISHAL! VISHAL! VISHAL! I mentally motivated myself.

"I am talking about sssex, Suhani.", Finally! Yes, it came out of my mouth.

She blushed even harder this time. She was not even able to make an eye contact with me, but I was gawking at her like a complete idiot, after all, I am a sex deprived husband and a 27-year-old man too. Though, we always deny that we are not after sex and all but the truth is every man wants this at least after getting married when his wife is as beautiful as mine, even if not!

"Vishal, I can't", she said crushing all my hopes. My face immediately dropped down.

"but why? Don't you love me? You want some more time?", I asked.

"it's not like that. It's just that I am on... on... periods", she said with hesitation.

I didn't know what to reply to her. She was on peri... okay, whatever.

"Oh!", my mouth shaped in a perfect O. It took me around 5 next seconds to ask further.

"when would you be okay?", I asked.

"5 days.", she pressed her lips inside.

"WHAT! FIVE DAYS", I almost screamed in shock that even she widened her eyes.

"hmmm"

That was the time I was discussing Period with a female. It was very embarrassing, for me at least.

"But I am leaving the day after tomorrow for my official tour and I will be back next month.", I said.

She just shrugged her shoulders as she didn't know what to reply to me.

"Sorry!", she said making a puppy face.

"Suhani"

"Hmmm?"

"Let's not do it, yaar. I guess we both need some more time.", I said.

I said so because I wanted to see the expression on her face. A second before I saw her all tensed up, scared and unhappy, but this line had blown away all those expressions and now she was looking happier, relieved and relaxed.

"I hope you change your mind when I come back.", I said still holding her hand.

"I'll wait for you.", she said keeping her hand on my shoulder.

I pecked her forehead.

"Thank you!", she said holding my arm through her free hand and I, what could I do? I just changed the channel to Discovery channel so that other feelings do not awake in my heart.

"mmmm! Why did you change the channel? I love SRK.", she protested.

I had no other option to switch back to the old channel keeping my fingers crossed.
