V24). It's been a week since I've first woken up as a vampire. I haven't talked to Sarah or Lauren yet, but I'm going back to school next week with Damien so it'll be a nice reunion with them. I was sitting in my room alone, Damien said he was going out to do something important, when my cellphone rang. I saw it was Damien so I answered it, "Hey Damien, are you coming home?" "Look outside our bedroom window." He told me. I got up from the bed and went over to the window. As I looked out the window, I dropped the cellphone in shock from what I saw. Damien was standing outside wearing a nice dress shirt and tie with dress pants and on the lawn next to him were candles that were in shape of a heart and in the middle were candles that spelled out, "Marry me?" I ran out of the room, down the stairs, and went outside barefoot. I walked towards Damien as I saw him standing there with a smile on his face as he looked at me. When I stood in front of him, he got down on one knee and pulled a small box out of his pocket. "Rose, will you marry me and make me the happiest guy for the rest of eternity?" Damien asked me then opened the small box. I put my right hand over my mouth and nodded, still too shocked to speak. He smiled real big as he held my left hand and put the ring on my ring finger. He stood up and I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I kissed him passionately, having all of my emotions bursting inside me. Once I pulled away, he held me from behind as I looked at the ring. It had an aquamarine gemstone in the middle with two diamonds on both sides of it. "I picked the aquamarine stone because you're unique and I felt like the traditional engagement ring didn't show that. The diamonds represent our love and that no matter what happens to us, it can't ever be destroyed." Damien told me and kissed my cheek. "You're the best guy ever, you know that? I just fell even more in love with you." I told him and kissed him again. I can't wait to spend eternity with Damien.
(Writing this chapter made me feel all 'aww' for Damien and Rose)
