        EDGE TO NEVER

It's finally summer as I being to breath in the fresh air it gets hotter in my room. I turn on my TVs to watch the news. It was going to be 102 degrees outside with a dash of rain a little later . I get up rubbed my eyes and went to the bathroom and took a cold shower. It was 12:15. Omg I was supposed to meet kylie at her house and I'm a little late but who cares she lives upstairs and two doors down.  kylie is my best friend we knew each other since the first grade when she defend me after this boy called me a little B. she  slapped the boy and then punched him in the face. Those were the fun days.     

After I took my cold shower I hurried up and got dressed put on my boots and went to kylie house.

                                                KYLIE'S FAMILY 

I stayed for at least five hours. kylie has three brothers and one younger sister. Joshua her older brother that was twenty-two had nice eyes and was tanned with brown black hair. Royce a nineteen year old hotie who was a jerk at times and had all the girls ask him out because he was so adorable and really tall. Then there was Ricky he was sixteen had a nice smile ,eyes and face was about six-one and was quite sometimes. And then there's ruby her twelve year old sister who taught she was the stuff because boys would not stop bothering her and calling her sending her text messages. She was popular in school all the girls were jealous of her. Their parents were not rich just wealthy and happy of their success. kylie's parents did not care who came over or what they did just to have them out before 3.am and to get good enough grades to past. Kylie loved to smoke weed to es her stress she say ( what does not kill you make you stronger) I would just look at her and say in my mind that's way you're always high and you never smart to think twice before playing video games. On the other hand Ruth  was in love with  me she could never stop following me. I only had blue eyes and really long black hair that I died red plus I was brown

But I didn't care she was like a little sister I never really had yet. She was loving had a soft spot and always came to my house to spend the night with her sister.

                                                 THE MOVIE

kylie's brother's sat with us on the coach as we watched our favorite movie. The avengers. kylie's older brother Royce liked me and I liked him to a lot. Of course he was hot ,cute and funny. (Well he sat next to me while we were watching the movie). He could not stop staring at me. I was always staring back to.” WAIT I said this is my favorite part of the movie I told them when Captain American ,Thor and Iron Man get into a fight”. Royce starts to laugh at me.

"Dang girl I didn't know you saw the movie".

*we both start laughing*

then Ricky starts acting crazy and stuff talking about the movie we just stare. That’s when I accidently smacked Royce in the face by an accident because my phone scared me. I laughed so hard when I started to apologizing  then he tackled me to the floor. And whispered  in my ear "I like you" "I said It to". we both started laughing. We get up sat back on the coach.

                                                          THE TEXT

 I read the text message that say's mom on it. "you have to come home me and dad are going out to dinner I left a hundred bucks on the table to order you and you're brother and two other people  pizza and a movie love you" "I say sorry guys have to go home to watch my brother while my mom and dad go to dinner”   Then Royce says " I'll walk you to your house. I said ok come on. I say goodnight to everyone and see you later to Ruth. As we walk out the front door. He says "Skylar can I get your phone number". "No I say in a serious voice." He looks at me like serious". "I am just playing I say " It is 604-559-0432. Then I take out a pen and say "I can right on your hand instead. He walks me to my door then kissed me on the lips. His lips are warm and mine are cold. I pulled back. He asked” what was wrong”. “I said nothing”. As I looked up into his honey brown eyes I said nothing “I just feel a little weird kissing my best friends brother”. “Don't you think so I said”? . He looked down and said “nothing is weird until it becomes awkward”. True I said with a slit smile on my face well got to go I said text me later. I hurry up and close the door and take a deep breath. Mike looked at me weird “where were you I’m hungry? Order me some food” he says. I look at him weird. That’s when he said “please”. I order Chinese food for the both of us. It was good. Then suddenly my phone rings. It was Royce omg . I was scared to pick it up. But I did anyway . ”hi” I said scared. He then replied “hi pretty how are you” I said “good” when we got off the  phone my cheeks were redder then ever from laugh with Royce . Royce I kept thinking. What a beautiful name. when mom came home I told her everything she was surprised to hear this. Cause I was once gay. She said “ Royce is a very pretty boy he is but your best friends brother wow”. She said “you can date him but make sure he truly loves you for you “. I said ok to mom. I went to bed right after I had that talk with mom. I couldn’t stop thinking about it me and Royce.

                                                    The date

He asked me out to dinner at this fancy restaurant. I just order a cheese burger with fries. We talked and talked for hours he paid for it all. Then he walked me home to my door. I asked him a question . I said “why do you like me when you have other girls that like you ? he said “because you have a very unique personality”. Smart I said as he leaned in for a kiss. When I looked at his lips they were red with my lipstick on it. I said “ oh you have lipstick on your lips let me wipe it off” he stopped me and said “why if you’re going to kiss me again. I laugh your funny. A funny boy at that. “I asked if he wanted  to come inside “ he said “yes” he came in and sat on the sofa.” Are you thirsty”? I asked he said “a little”. So I bought him a sprite. We were all alone cause mom took mike to  Manhattan and dad started working double shifts at work. Then we started making out and that led to shirts missing and by the time you know it my pants were off.” Wait” I said “this relationship Is moving too fast”. But who cared were teenagers nothing could go wrong. Right I am about to be nineteen in a month  anyways. It was ok as long as we used protection. I don’t know why I keep looking at the time. But it was over in a matter of time and I felt different. We saw a movie and then he left. Gave me a kiss goodbye.

                             Different and the three letter word

When mom got home I told her. She was surprised but just a little. Then gave me a hug and said “ no matter what you do you will always be my baby girl” kissed me on the head and went to bed . I went to bed to after I took a nice hot shower and watched maxi and ruby. The next day I saw Royce. I walked up to him and gave him a hug. “What was that for” he asked as I just smiled as my eyes started to tear. He picked me up and placed me on the radiator.” Why are you crying” he said. Is this because of yesterday night . I shook my head “yes” “what happen” he said did “I hurt you?”. “I was gentle wasn’t I?” “no you did not hurt me and yes you were gentle” I said. “Then why are you crying” he asked. I yelled out “I feel different”. Not me “someone else” then took out a tissue from his pocket. “Here” he said. “I hate to see pretty young girls cry like you wipe your eyes so we could get ice cream”. “I love you” he said  “so stop crying” omg I said in my head he said the three letter word “I LOVE YOU” . we got ice cream and came back home he gave me a kiss and left.

                                                The test

 After two weeks I felt different like my body keep changing. I don’t know why just when as the doorbell rang I threw up. It was Royce. “Hi” I said wiping the extra throw up from my mouth. He said “are you ok you don’t look so good” “yup I’m fine” I said. I don’t know why but my mom bought a whole pack of pregnancy test. I sat down and had a bagel with cream cheese and jelly  twenty minutes later I threw that up. Royce said “are you ok?” he asked.  “no” I said “can you buy me some chicken soup with rice please” as he left I went straight to the bathroom and took a test. The directions was so easy but difficult to follow. I peed on the stick and waited two minutes it was blue so I took another one it was blue to. “This is impossible” I said. we used protection. The doorbell rung it was Royce “here’s your chicken soup”. I looked up with depression in my eyes. “Uh oh what’s the matter” he said. I said “come here”. He followed me into the bathroom. “look” “I pointed out there both blue”. He face was stun. “HOLY SHIT” he said no way we used protection. “I said the same thing”. He sat down at the edge of the tub “what are we going to do?” he asked. “I don’t know” I said. I can’t give the baby an abortion”. “It’s wrong so we have two choices keep the baby” or “give It up for adoption”…..
