Raine sat on the couch, figuring out how she would be able to leave. It was clear as daylight that something fishy was going on and she did not want to stick around to see what would happen. They way Harry was acting towards her was a major red flag. She had doubts that he was even going to drive her into town. It was probably all just a plot to get her into the house. Harry eventually came into the room with a tray. The tray contained a bowl, a glass, and three crackers."Careful it is really hot," Harry smiles setting the tray on the wooden coffee table. He came over to Raine, adjusting the pillows behind her so she was sitting up right. Harry then retrieved the tray and rested it on her lap. "Eat up," he told her. Raine glanced at the contents of the bowl. It looked like simple chicken soup, but Raine wasn't too sure she wanted to eat it. Harry watched her, a small frown forming on his face. "What?" He questions her. Raine shook her head.
"Nothing," She whispered picking up the spoon. She ran the spoon through the soup. Harry ran a hand through his hair. He was getting a bit frustrated with how long she was taking to taste the soup.
"Eat the soup!" Harry shouts slamming his fists on the coffee table. Raine jumped, looking at him. Her eyes wide in fear. She quickly shoved a spoonful of the soup into her mouth. Harry tugged on his hair, standing up. Raine watched him pacing back and forth, the spoon resting in the bowl. Harry turns around seeing this. "You b*itch." He snaps rushing to her. Raine gasped reaching for something to defend herself with, but Harry had reached her. He straddled her, pinning her hands above her head. He grabbed the spoon and force fed her the soup. Raine turned her head in different directions, she kept bucking her hips. A failed attempt in trying to break free.
"Why are you doing this?!" She sobs trying to keep her mouth closed. Harry suddenly stopped and got off of her.
"I'm sorry," He mumbles scratching his head, "I don't know what happened." Raine looked at him as if he was crazy. "I have these moments where I j-just lose control. I must have forgotten to take my pills," He started muttering things to himself, tugging harshly at his hair. He seemed to be in a deep conversation with himself. Raine slowly moved to the other side of the couch, being careful not to make any sounds. She pushed the blankets off, slowly pulling herself to her feet. She winced slightly as she stood up, careful not to apply pressure to her bad foot. As Harry continued to stare at the mantel, talking about god knows what, Raine limped to the door. She glanced back at Harry as she quietly tried to open the door. When the door clicked open, she held her breath. Hesitantly, she pulled the door open, looking back at him to see if he had notice. He didn't.
Raine bolted out of the door, as fast as her injured leg would allow her to go. Tears started running down her face as she started getting closer to the trees. Suddenly Raine was knocked on the head with something. The wind was knocked out of her as she tumbled to the ground. Raine groaned painfully as she grabbed her head. What hit her? Still in pain, she rolled over onto her back, when she realized who was in front of her, she wanted to crawl in a hole and die.
The mystery person who had attacked them back at the campsite now stood over her. His hands were drenched in blood. It was human blood, that was for certain. The question was, which one of her friends had lost their lives? The stranger lets out a grunt as he reaches down, hoisting her over his shoulder. Although she was conscious the impact of the blow was causing her to be a little loopy.
"No...p-please l-let me g-go," She slurs, her vision going in and out. The guy ignores her, carrying her back into the house. Harry turns around, his hair forming a curtain in front of his face.
"That wasn't very nice Raine," Harry frowns tapping on his chin. "Take her upstairs," Was the last thing Raine heard before everything went black.
