Chapter 1

Jennifer's POV
I woke up clutching my wrist (AN:That's where her scar is).Green lots of green that's all I saw. My best friend, Harry Potter, woke up beside me. "Did you see it also" I asked. "Yeah," he nodded. I checked the time, 6:30. "We should go start making breakfast. The Dursleys will be up soon," I sighed. We both got out of the tiny cupboard and walked to the kitchen. Let me explain the whole living situation . My parents and Harry's parents in a car crash and his parents and my parents were best friends so we both got stuck with his jerk of an aunt and uncle. Focus Jennifer Focus. "Are you there Jenny." I went back to reality. Just for the record ONLY Harry could call me Jenny. Back to breakfest, I saw Harry working on the eggs so I started to cook 3 packs of bacon. By the time we were done it was 7:30 and the dursleys would be waking up soon. We quickly set the table. Right as we finished the Dursleys walked into the kitchen. Dudley first the Vernon talking about plant to Petunia. We slipped out of the room quickly and quietly. We went to get the mail and as we gathered it up I noticed a letter addressed to Harry and I. Then we walked into the kitchen and handed the rest of the mail to Vernon. I opened mine and Harry's letter and got as far as Dear Mr.Potter and Ms.Black before it was snatched out of my hand by none other than Vernon Dursley. "Hey give that back. That's mine and Harry's," I said to him trying to get it back. Vernon showed it to Petunia and she gasped. She quickly took it and ran to the living room to throw it in the fire. "Vernon..."

Left it on a cliffhanger. This is my first story so I'm sorry if it sucks but as they get to Hogwarts I'm going to try and make the chapters longer. I will try to update as soon as possible. Please vote and keep reading.
