We Find Our Lost Cousin (We're Not Complete Without Him)

"Hahaha! You stupid, stupid little boys. So young, so naive, you're all a shame to the new generation,” Chayle screamed and laughed, showing off all her sharp teeth that put sharks to shame.

"Shut up Chayle! Just shut up!!" Niall exclaimed, as he cover his ears with his hands whilst shaking his head furiously. Chayle smirked, seeing and loving the effect her words were causing. 

"Why should I? It's the truth and you need to hear it. We're monsters; we're supposed to act like one! We were meant to kill but you guys don't. You're acting human," Cayle spatted, like it's the worst thing anybody could do and to her it was.  The boys were just hunting in the woods for wild animals to feed on, they didn't expect for Chayle to be there.

"No we're not! And if we were, what's wrong with that? What if we don't want to be killers anymore, what if we don't wannt to follow the same footsteps. Let us be.  Some monsters actually accept us, why can't you? Just try not to be killed with a blade, shut up and stop being such a pain in the ass." Harry snarled, as his nostrils flared up. The boys were just hunting in the woods for wild animals to feed on, they didn't expect for Chayle to be there. The four boys turned around to leave but Cayle's voice stopped them.

"I feel bad for your mothers, they would be so disappointed."

Suddenly Chayle was pressed up against a boulder with Louis' hand around her neck.

"Take that back," Louis snarled, his teeth starting to sharpen.

"N-no, it’s the truth. Wanna know something? It doesn't matter how long it takes you to kill a human again, it will happen because we're monsters, it's in our blood. You can't escape your roots," Chayle choked out. She was very aware on how Louis' hand seemed to tighten with every word she said.

"Louis let her go, she's not worth it," Harry said calmly then put a hand on Louis' shoulder when he saw Louis was making no movement in letting her go. Finally Louis let her go.

"I kinda of wish he would have killed me, that would be the first good thing you would have done in a while."

Zayn was just watching the scene unfolding, not commenting. He had a feeling this wasn't going to end well.

"Isn't there supposed to be five of you? Or was the other one embarrassed to be seen with you and he decided to leave? Wouldn't blame him if he did."

The four boys tensed up, that was a touchy subject.

"You know what, I bet he was weak."

"Don't bring him into this!" Niall snarled. 

"Hoho, pulled a trigger there, didn't I? You guys and that lost boy is a shame to this world. Everyone will laugh of your weakness, 'cause that's what you are: weak. Weak and pathetic. Your mothers would be ashamed of you. You're a joke. You won't last long, you'll break and there will be bloodshed. And I bet the other one, is dead. Probably in the underworld, trying to mask his face so they won't know he's related to you."

That's all it took for Niall to break. His gray wings spurted out of his back in a flash and his teeth going sharp. His feet turning scaly blue. Before any of the boys could stop him, Niall jumped on Chayle.

The last thing Chayle heard was Niall's growl and the last thing she saw were his blue eyes.

The boys watched as Niall stood up. He turned around and the boys saw the black blood that was dripping from his mouth.

"Sorry goys, I-I just lost it," Niall tried to explain, the guilt was beginning to kick in. 

"S' fine, she was kind of asking for it," Harry said, shrugging. But it's not okay, the boys never felt comfortable killing anyone, humans, half-bloods, monsters. As long as it's breathing, they try to keep it that way.

"Let's just head back home," Zayn spoke up for the first time in a really long time. The others nodded and started to head back, except for Louis who stood back. He went over to Chayle's body, inspecting her open throat where Niall bit her.

"Be careful what you wish for," Louis said before watching how the dirt from the ground began to cover her until she was no longer seen, taken to the underworld.

"We can't keep having these problems! I'm so sick of everyone not taking us seriously!" Harry exclaimed as he put he paced around the kitchen. The other boys were silently watching him from their seats around the table. 

"Harry, just let it go," Zayn said, he didn't like seeing Harry like this. Harry connected his fists with the table making the other boys jump a little.

"No! I can't let it go! I'm tired of all the constant hate we receive from jackasses like Chayle!" Harry shouted before sighing and sitting on a chair and burying his face in his hands.

"It- it's not just the hate we're receiving, it's- it's him."

"Our aunt's son?" Niall questioned.

"Yes, we're not complete without him!”

Louis nodded, “Yes, he can be out there, not knowing who- what he is. It’s been a century since we were born and since we’ve seen him. We were babies! Why did our aunt do that, why did she take him away from us?!!”

“I don’t know but I do know one thing: we have to find him and quick. The winter solstice is approaching, meaning the face off of the monsters. If we win, we’ll be kings of all the monsters. We can change monster’s way of living! We can prove we’re not weak.” Zayn said.

The other boys nodded before Niall spoke up, “Do-do you think Chayle was right? That our mothers would be disappointed?”

Louis eyes soften, “No not at all Niall. They would be proud. We can do this and we’ll do this for our mothers, our lost cousin and for us.”

Niall nodded whilst smiling.

“But first thing’s first,” Harry said after he stood up.

“What?” Niall questioned. Harry turned to them before smirking.

“We find our lost cousin.”

 

 

Y'ello!!:DD New story!! Haha this one is a ‘Coming Soon‘ it would‘ve started right away since this is the story people wanted me to post but at the last moment ‘Speed of Love‘ (a Ziam fic) won... so yeah, keep an eye out for that one ;)

But to be honest, I don‘t think this will last a lot on the ‘Coming Soon‘ category, considering I‘m VERY excited for this fic, it‘s been a while since a story did that to me:3

Question of the Day: What‘s your favorite thing to learn about?

You can‘t say “nothing“ cause there‘s gotta be at least ONE thing you enjoy learning about, whether it‘s rocks or 1D. I personally LOVE learning about Greek mythology. I‘m a Greek Geek! ^-^

Haha yeah this story contains greek myhtology, so there‘s a hint ;) But it will mainly focus on monsters, not on half-bloods, nor gods.... that‘s for a upcoming story ;))

R.I.P Cory Monteith Even though I don‘t watch Glee nor I‘m a big fan of it, he was a very talented person, your fans will always have you in your heart:))
