"Sasuke! Wait up!"
"I want to tell Itachi that we got into the Special Team Zero!"
"Can't you walk?"
Sasuke, my neighbor and best friend. He loves his brother so much, he tells him every little thing. All three of us train together on the side of our ninja academy. Special Team Zero is a team of five students that preform the best in the academy, then are put on a team that does advanced missions and requests. We're assigned the team at our age, eleven years old, and start now. Others start at age thirteen.
"Cynthia! Want to get something to celebrate?"
"You already knew that we were going to be assigned, so it doesn't matter. I think we should go straight home, I want to ask Itachi something."
"Dango!"
"Fine let's get something!"
We stop by a dangling stand and get some. Itachi loves dango. Walking home now without eating was hard enough. I really enjoy my life with Itachi and Sasuke. It's really fun when we train with our fire releases. I have no siblings of my own so they were always like my brothers.
"Sasuke do you think that- Sasuke?"
I turn to him and the face he had on was devastated. I look straight ahead and Sasuke knelt down to touch the ground. When he comes back up, there's blood on his hand. Bodies are scattered everywhere around our town of Uchiha.
I start to walk towards my home and Sasuke runs his.
"Itachi! Itachi!"
He keeps running around until he comes back out, backing out, with an even more devastated look than before.
Itachi, with his blade of blood, walks out with a dark look. He says things to Sasuke, things that I thought he would never say, then Sasuke falls to the ground when Itachi throws a Kunai at him. He then turns to me. I start to back away then he smiles at me.
"I'm sorry Cyci, it's all and only my fault. Okay?"
He goes back to his dark aura and says a few more things to Sasuke. Itachi leaves soon after, and both of us are in complete shock. The once loved and favored Uchiha was now almost the cause of our extinction.
