Deliverance (C.H. Fanfic)

Chapter 3

Sorry it took so long!! I've been really busy and I had to decide where I wanted this story to go before I kept going with it. Hope you enjoy.   :) 

"What do I say?" I beg.

"Well I vote you start with hello." I smack her in the arm.

After the second ring I answer. "Hello?"

"Hi. It's Calum, if you didn't already know that." I hear a laugh in the background and Calum starts shushing whoever is with him. "So you had a good time tonight?"

Jessie starts to giggle but I shove my elbow into her ribs and she puts her hand on her mouth.

"Yea. I had a great time. You guys are amazing!"

I hear him laugh and can't help but smile. "Thanks. It's Elisa right?"

"Yup." I look at Jessie and shrug. She raises her shoulders and shakes her head.

After a pause I hear someone in the background, it sounds like Michael. "Dude! Tell her that her friends hot." I start to laugh and smile at Jessie then I hear Calum move the phone away from his head and yell, "Shut up you idiot! She can hear you."

"Was that Michael?"

Calum laughs, "Yeah. Apparently he thinks your friend is hot."

"I'm pretty sure she feels the same towards him." Jessie's eyes go wide and I mouth Michael's name and she smiles and gives me a thumbs up.

"So what's up?" I ask.

"Oh, um..." He pauses for a minute, "Are you guys coming to the show tomorrow night?"

"I don't think so. But I was surprised when I went to this one. Jessie surprised me with tickets this morning." My eyes go wide and I shake my head. What is my problem? Why did I just tell him that?

"Well I'm glad that she did."

"Me too." I smile.

"Well the reason I called was to ask if you guys wanted to come to the gig tomorrow night. I wanna see you again and actually talk in person."

I pause, shocked. "Um...hold on a sec."

I lean over to Jessie and whisper, "He wants us to come to the gig tomorrow night."

She answers, "What? Dude say yes."

"How would we get there? There's no way that my parents would let me go again."

"Eli just say yes. We'll work something out."

I return to the phone and reluctantly answer, "Cal?"

"Yes love?"

"I can't guarantee that we can go. But I definitely want to try."

"Well, I'll help in any way that I can."

I smile. "Um...I'll let you know if you can." I look up and we're at Jessie's house. "Sorry, I have to go. It was nice talking to you."

"Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow love."

With that I hang up. I sigh and look at Jessie.

"We'll figure something out." She reassures me.

The next morning I wake remembering that I talked to Calum hood last night. Jessie is already awake so I roll over and ask her a question I already know the answer too.
