Anna's POV

"Boys are so confusing." I mumbled to myself as I got off the couch. My Asian friend, Mimi chimed in with her agreement. "Boys are just big pieces of crap," She spoke through a big mouthful of chewed up crisps. A chunk of crisps sprayed after each word, "ugh, why is food so good?"

I looked at her weirdly but in the end laughed at her weirdness. "Agreed, my dear." I filled my mouth with air, my cheeks puffed out like a blowfish. Mimi slapped my cheeks together with her freakishly large hands and air came gushing out of my mouth along with the remains of saliva. She glared at me then wiped her face slowly with a disgusted look.

"You're disgusting." She murmured, going to sit on a couch. I laughed out loud at her reaction even though I was already prepared for it. I looked around the floor of my flat, grimacing at the huge mess we made. Pizza boxes, ice cream tubs, soda cans, candy floss wrappers, and half way empty crisp bags scattered the area.

We have been sitting on the couch, gossiping about guys and the latest season of Supernatural for the last 2 hours. I told her about the Harry situation and she told me about her own issues whilst stuffing both of our faces like there was no tomorrow.  We both came to the conclusion that boys are terrible creatures; at least in the moment they are.

I turned my eyes to see the weird girl hanging off the side of the couch, lying upside down. Her hair was envious, so long. It kind of made me mad since she didn't like it, claiming it to be "too straight and too short." Stupid Asian.

I chuckled to myself at the thought. We were always throwing back and forth racist comments and insults at each other, knowing that it's just harmless fun. "What terrorist?" She smirked upside from the living room.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking about how you should probably go feed your pet panda bamboo or something right now." She laughed; loudly at that. She was always laughing at the most idiotic things, like STD's even though she didn't think they were funny.

Strange child.

"I'm still hungry. Will you buy me food?"

"Combos?" She said, referring to my favorite chips. I grinned at her, "to the shops we go!"

--

"I have a crisis." I said to Mimi from across the shop. "And what's that?" She yelled back, causing people to turn heads but it didn't seem like she noticed.

"Nacho or pepperoni?" With one last concentrated look at the bags of chips in my hands, I looked up at her amused face. "I don't know, I don't even like combos," She mumbled quietly, "Nacho. I like nachos."

"Pepperoni it is then." I grinned at her, putting the nacho back. "Did you even need me?" She wondered out loud.

"Yeah, I needed you to pick so I could pick the opposite." I said nonchalantly, she rolled her eyes and walked away. "Wait you're still paying right?" I laughed at her reaction.

"I like your thinking." A young boy, around my age, probably a couple years older said from beside me.

"What's my thinking?" I asked him. He had blue eyes, kind of like Niall's eyes except not as blue. They were grayer and just, beautiful. This guy was quite attractive I have to admit. I looked at what he was wearing, a bro tank that showed off his arms quite well. They were pretty great.

"You know, your cheeky-self going with the opposite of what your friend over there said." This guy really didn't know how to flirt did he? Or...was he actually trying to flirt? I need to get out more often, seriously. I chuckled along with him.

"Hm, can't decide if that's a compliment or not." I smirked. He smirked right back at me and took a step closer. "I'd say it's a compliment."

I don't know how or why but I ended up giving the mystery boy my number. When I asked him his name as he was leaving, all he said was "you'll know soon enough." Boys; still terrible creatures.
