First Day Of Sophomore Year

Faith's P.O.V.
It's my first day of school as a sophomore and I can't wait to see all my friends and...him. I have been thinking about him all summer. Last year, I never had the guts to talk to him but all summer I've been thinking of the perfect way to start a conversation with him. I pick up my phone to see why it's ringing, it's my alarm. "Oh shit!" It's 7 A.M. I need to be at the bus stop at 7:45. I get up, close the bathroom door, start running the water in the shower, and take my hair out of my ponytail as i step in. As I'm in the shower, I see his face..his perfect, kissable lips, his structured face and jaw line, his shoulders, his muscles and his probable six pack. I smile and bite my lip just thinking about it but I don't have time to anymore because my alarm goes off again telling me to get out. I turn off the water stepping out and wrap my self in a towel walking over to my closet. Hmm what should I wear? I think to myself for a minute before deciding on black leggings, a crop top and a pair of black converse. I shove on my clothes and walk back to my bathroom to dry my hair and put eyeliner on. My alarm rings again, 7:38. "Shit!" I grab my phone, my backpack and a hoodie just in case. The bus comes right on time, I'm the last stop so it goes right to school. I sit with my bestfriend, Jake, on the bus and his girlfriend Samantha. "Hey you look great!" Samantha says. "Thanks Sam! You're still gorgeous!" And then of course Jake has to tease me "Faith why don't you get a boyfriend so you're not always third wheeling?" He laughs at me and I give him a look. "Yeah well today..." I paused for a second and they both looked at me confused. "I'm gonna talk to Noah" I blurted out and covered my mouth hoping no one else heard me. "Wait what?" Jake always needs me to explain myself..you know boys. I sigh and turn away. "Never mind" The bus arrives at school and me, Jake and Samantha walk around together looking for our group of friends. "Oh my god" I mumbled under my breath and looked over towards my little brother..he was talking to Noah. Samantha looked at me and saw me looking at Noah "Just go and talk to him. Play it cool just act like you're talking to your brother." "It's not that easy Sam. Knowing my brother he'll fuck it up for me." Jake pokes his head in our conversation and says "If he does, I'll fuck him up." I laugh and hesitantly start walking over there "Okay.." As i get near them I see Noah look at me, blush and start talking to my brother again. "Hey Chris." I say to my brother with a little wave. "Hey sis, Noah this is Faith" he said to Noah gesturing to me. I smile and wave to Noah "Hi." He blushes a little and says "Hello." I died a little inside I swear oh my god his smile made me melt and then i realized I was standing there smiling like an idiot. "So how was your summer?" Trying not to make it obvious I liked him. "It was good but would've been better if I had a girl to share it with." OH MY GOD HE'S SINGLE!!!!!!! "Yeah mine would've been better with a guy haha." "You don't have a boyfriend??" I opened my mouth to say something when who else but Derek to walk up. "Hey gorgeous." Derek said as he put his arm around me. I brushed his arm off and gave him a dirty look "What do you want Derek?" Chris walked away with his friends and it was just me, Derek and the godly Noah. Noah could tell I was annoyed with Derek so he said "Hi I'm Noah." I swear if looks could kill, Derek would've just killed Noah. "You know, Noah, three's a crowd." I snapped my head back to look at Derek "What the hell is your problem?? I don't like you Derek and I'm not going to have sex with you so fuck off." Now this was when Derek got mad. Derek took his strong hands put them on my waist and pulled me into him. Noah clearly getting annoyed with his behavior stepped forward and got in Derek's face as I was trying to get away from Derek. "Dude let her go she clearly doesn't want you touching her." "And who's gonna make me, pretty boy? She's mine and I'll prove it that she loves me." "Derek I don't like you!! Let me go oh my god!" Derek tightened his grip on me and looked into my eyes angrily which scared me a little. "I don't have to let you go sweetheart, you're mine!" "Ow Derek you're hurting me." My eyes teared up and his grip got tighter. By now Noah had enough "Dude let go!" He barked at Derek, as Noah was prying Derek's hands off of me. Derek lost his grip on me and I hid behind Noah. Derek got in his face and said "You just interfered with my relationship with my girl. What the fuck do you think you're doing??" "Um last I heard her say, she doesn't like you Derek. She deserves better than you anyway you just want to get in her pants." Derek put his hand on Noah's throat and I jumped at Derek. "Derek let go!!" I tried to get his hand off Noah but it wouldn't budge.
