It was late november, when the air begins to get cold and you're left freezing in your own skin under a blanket to keep warm, walking into your bathroom with the tiles of the floor so cold they send a sudden shiver down your spine, and walking your almost lifeless body downstairs to make yourself a simple coffee to wake yourself up, making yourself a bit more perky for the day. Although it was late autumn, winter was her favorite season and it always had been.
Ever since she was a small child she loves those three chilly months and always woke up excited to feel the cold air on her flesh and being out in the snow, even though she had moved to Oregon around her tween years she still hoped everyday for snow. Nothing would make her feel more alive than warm blankets, baggy sweaters and of course cheesy christmas movies.
Throughout the time she would be in school attempting to get something out of taking notes in classes she had almost no interest in other than science which always seemed to fascinate her, she acted happy or even optimistic as some would say. This girl had a continuous goal of making people smile, even if that smile was simply fake. She always seemed to others like she was truly happy and felt as if her life could not get any better than where she was.
But that was never her.
When she was nothing but a small infant who had loved almost everything that her precious little heart desired of she never could have been happier. Yet when her 10th birthday was finally on the horizon, only 10 days short had her grandmother, who was her best friend, and mainly the only person she trusted had passed away due to cancer. It broke her heart to the point of seeing her grandmother had constantly triggered her into breakdowns. She was broken, even at such a young age she almost felt like nothing was worth living.
But now she lived alone with nothing else other than her small dog which was her best friend when nobody else was, the only time she'd leave her house is for two things: school and coffee. She loved going down to her local coffee shop every morning and writing in her notebook; but one particular morning the coffee shop was rather packed.
There was a specific boy in particular that had caught her eye, he had black messy hair with a fringe that was a light Orchid color that just seemed to dip over his left eye. he had emerald green eyes that looked like their own small galaxy of true beauty. his pale complexion clashed with his deep red lips. Within the short time she knew him she was infatuated with every detail about him. Little did she know what would begin.
