~Aria's P.O.V.~

I sit on a mat on the ground, watching the 9 wolves around me in awe. They all romp around in the forest we're in, chasing each other and wrestling while letting out yips of delight. They're all so adorable!

I break out of my thoughts as something cold brushes my cheek, causing me to look up to see a pair of large brown eyes staring at me. I immedietly grin widely, causing the black and white wolf before me(media) to mirror my grin. "Hey Sam," I say as my mate ducks his huge head down, leaning his forhead against mine, "How are you?"

I'm okay, his voice echos in my head, How are you? I smile, tilting my head up and kissing his soft fur between his eyes, "Good. Lay with me?" He lifts his head and nods, curling his large body around behind me and laying his head in my lap. I lean back against his stomach and sigh, scratching behind one of his ears. "Happy?" I ask. He harrumphs in response, causing me to giggle.

Suddenly, a boy comes crashing through the brush, skidding to a stop in front of us. Gasping, I bolt to my feet, and within seconds Sam is in front of me, his fur bristling as he snarls at the boy. Vampire, he growls in my head.

"Y-you...." The boy gasps, lifting a bloody hand and pointing at me as the others gather around the three of us, "H-he's c-coming for....y-you....." The boy's eyes roll up into his head as he sways slightly, and a moment later he collapses to the ground, dead to the world.

Guys! Kian yells suddenly, Get do-

Before he can even finish the sentence a weighted rope flies out of the trees, wrapping around his legs and sending him crashing to the ground. I let out a scream as something grabs my leg, dragging me down to the ground and backwards. "Sam!" Sam lets out a howl and goes to run after me but another rope wraps around his forlegs, causing him to trip and collapse. He goes to get up but more ropes fly towards him, binding him to the ground in a struggling heap.

I scream again as I'm yanked off the ground and thrown into a metal cage, my head slamming against the metal bars. My vision swims at the impact, but I push myself up as the door slams shut, running to the bars. "Sam! Kian!"

I hear the howls of all the wolves being pinned down, watching helplessly as they each fight but are overcome. People dressed in black jump out of the woods, holding down the ropes keeping the wolves hostage. "Sam!" I cry as he roars, partially breaking free and making for me, but a black - clothed person raises his hand, pointing it at Sam. Sam's body goes ridgid, and I let out a scream as he collapses limply to the ground, the light fading from his eyes.

What's going on?

-At the Same Time-

~Carter's P.O.V.~

"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?" Taylor roars, making everyone in the room but Sammy flinch at the sound, "ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?!?!?" He lunges towards Sammy but Cameron catches him just in time, just barely dragging back the newborn before he rips off the hybrid's face. I make no motion to help, though, he just sit there, staring at him in shock. "W-what?"

Sammy sighs, running a hand through his hair. "Like I said before-" "Guys!" My head shoots up as Laura comes flying into the room, "We have to leave, now!" "What?" Grace shoots out of her seat, arms flying, "We can't! It's not compl-"

"We are three minutes from being attacked," Laura said, her voice scarily serious, "We need to leave. I don't care if it's not done yet, it can be moved. Now let's go!"

Sammy shoots up immedietly, looking at the 6 of us. "Matt, take Adia and make sure her and Laura get out of here. Grace, calm the damn newborn down and get out yourself. Cameron, you're in charge of 2 things: Carter and protecting me. Got it?" Cameron nods, handing the bristling Taylor off to Grace as she follows Matt and Adia out of the room before walking over to me, grabbing my arm.

"You have 2 choices Carter," Cam tells me quickly as Sammy starts to leave the room, "I can carry you, or-" "What???" I yelp, looking at him with wide eyes, "Dude, no!" Cameron shrugs. "Okay, well then keep up!"

Suddenly, Cameron dashes forward, yanking me along with him. The force nearly sends me to the floor, but I manage to stay in my feet. Now, though, I was running as fast as I could after Cameron, down the stairs all the way into what looks like a dungeon.

My eyes widen as we pull to a stop, and Sammy throws open cell door, storming inside. I gasp as he returns only a moment later, a pale, limp form in his arms. "M-Malia?"

"Let's go!" Sammy yells, looking at us and turning around, running down the hallway, "We need to leave, now!" Cameron nods quickly, and when I don't move he lifts me up over his shoulder, setting off in a run after Sammy. I don't cry out or shake, though, just let him carry me. Malia.....looks....dead....

Suddenly, everything around us explodes, sending me flying off of Cameron's shoulder as he crashes to the ground. I hit the floor with a yelp, breaking out of my shock and raising my arms above my head to protect myself from the wall falling down on me. I let out a scream, but it gets muffled quickly by the falling debree. I hear Cam call out my name and Sammy scream, but before I can do anything a hand clamps down over my mouth, something stabs my necm, and everything goes black.
