It's 9:00 AM and our unfortunately lucky contestants are starting to arrive. First one to show up, not surprisingly, is Jacob.  He's always on time to things, no matter what it is, he has to keep a neat and proper schedule or else he doesn't feel in control. He shows up on his bicycle carrying a sleeping bag, 3 bottles of water, and a flashlight. As he sits and waits alone in front of Grayson Manor, he decides to look into the ancient, abandoned building. A wave of regret immediately falls upon him when he realizes that there are no lights in the building. His fear of the dark will certainly come into play tonight. He sits and waits, around 9:30 AM he hears loud rap music blaring from a huge truck as it speeds down the road. As the truck comes to a sudden stop, our next contestant to arrive, Jason, steps out sporting his typical backwards cap, plain white muscle shirt, nice letterman and a pair of jeans. "Sup bro, I'm Jason, just wanted to introduce you to the guy who's gonna win the competition man." Says Jason with an egotistical smile on his face. "Good morning Jason, I'm Jacob." Says Jacob with an obvious look of annoyance on his face. "So where's the rest of my competition at?" Jason says to Jacob. "They'll be here soon, just have some patience" Jacob says to Jason. Before Jason walks towards his truck,  he gives Jacob a look of disgust. They sit around and wait, and then at 9:45 right on the dot, two cars pull into the driveway of the mansion, and out of them comes Jessica and Lauren. Lauren steps out carrying a sleeping bag, a flashlight, and some food. She steps out, says goodbye to her parents, and starts walking towards the guys. You can immediately tell by the look on her face that she's not very excited to be staying the night away from home. "Hi, I'm Jacob, what's your name?" Says Jacob as he walks up to Lauren. "Hi, I-I-I...... I'm Lauren." She says with a blatant look of fear masking her face. "It's really cold out here, do you need a jacket or something?" Jacob almost seems nervous asking her. "N-N-No I'm fine, but thank you Jacob." While Jacob begins conversing with Lauren, Jason sets his sights for Jessica. Jacob is immediately stunned when Jessica, the blonde hair blue eyed beauty steps out of her cherry red 2014 Mustang. "Hey girl, the name's Jason, what's yours?" As Jacob says this, he mindlessly approaches the clearly uninterested Jessica. Right from the start Jessica can see that he's just the typical meathead jock that goes for every girl he sees. "Hi, I'm Jessica." She gives a complete look of disgust to Jacob as she walks by. "So, this looks like everybody, now all we need is Mr. Morehead." Jacob's obviously trying to break the ice with this new group of people as they wait for the man that they're all there for. As they wait outside the gate, they hear a thundering boom come from the huge mansion door. A man steps out from the door, you can tell he's obviously older by the long gray hair he has on the top of his head. He makes his way towards the group from the other side of the gate. The group begins to grow tiresome of the long wait to figure out who this elderly man on a cane is. As he begins to get closer and closer, Jacob realizes who it is. "It's Anthony Morehead!" The entire group takes a sigh of relief because they no longer have to wait outside. As he reached the gate, he started to speak in an eerie tone. "Four little contestants stood with glee. One dragged down a hall, and then there were three. Three brave contestants, made up this hardy crew. One was forced to walk the plank, and then there were two. Two scared contestants, stood in awe. One tried to run, but had a fall. The last little contestant, almost had it won, poor thing went insane, and then there were none." The group stands in utter confusion, contemplating what Mr. Morehead's point of that short story was. As Morehead approaches the gate, he lets out a devilish smirk and explains that that was an excerpt from one of his favorite books. Although everyone believes him, they are still left slightly on edge. Morehead finally reaches and opens the gate and asks "are we ready to begin?" The whole group simultaneously agrees. A demonic look appears on Morehead's face, "then let us begin."
