Life as Spiderwoman

A real life saver

I told myself to calm down. From the outside I looked relaxed, but on the inside I was screaming. Spiderman, my biggest idol stood right in front of me. And he had just saved my life.

"Oh, you? Err, yes I mentioned your name, just by the way, I mean.." I smiled provocatively. "Oh okay, that's fine, it's just because I thought about copyrighting it. You know how that works these days.." said Spiderman. I giggled. Unintentionally.

I didn't know what to say and there was this awkward silence. Somehow I found that really funny, though it wasn't, and laughed quietly.

"So.. As you can see, there's a lot of work around here, I gotta go. I hope I'll see you again soon..", said Spidey pretty self-confident and I thought I'd see him grin under his mask. It only needed him a second to throw his webs and get on the roof of the building. Then he was gone.

"Yeah.. See you soon..", whispered I, still in trance. I hoped he was right with that.

I slowly walked down the street again, when I remembered that I hadn't seen Peter since I had ran out of the café. I looked around. Where was he? When I was on my way running to the café I crashed into him.

"Phew, there you are, I've looked for you everywhere!", said I, after we caught our breaths. "Oh, err.. I was.. After you headed out of the café I followed you and saw you crashing down and there were people everywhere and I went back into the café to get some ice, because I thought you'd be hurt.."

Pete was stuttering the whole time. "Oh, okay. Well, no one got hurt, you don't need the.. ice? Where is it?", I said and looked into his empty hands. "Oh, I.. It melted.", said he with the cutest smile, so that I forgot about asking him more questions.

We got our schoolbags from inside and our bikes and agreed to drive home now. On our way, I couldn't stop talking.

"Oh Pete, I actually think Spidey saved my life with that, I mean, it would have ended in some other way, if he hadn't been there."

"Yes, could be. But he's always around, he helps everywhere he can, and he saves everyone he can, so -" "Yeah, he's a real life saver.", said I with a dreamy smile.

I'm so sorry this part isn't as long as the other parts, but I promise I'll write some more longer parts on friday and at the weekend, I just had so many exams this week.
