Hiya new book yay!
We're finally doing kellic.------------------------------------------
Kellin"Awww... You got ready all by yourself today. Daddy's proud."
Smile as Copeland walks into the kitchen waddling a bit. I pick her up and set her on the counter opposite where I'm making chocolate chip pancakes.
"Daddy?"
"Yes Cope."
"You make chip cakes." I nod turning around to face her. At the age of three she's developed language but cuts some words in half. I honestly don't mind because it's cute.
I see that my batch of pancakes are done. So I turn off my stove picking Copeland up and placing her in the high chair at the dining table. Excitedly she bangs her spoon on the table, "daddy food! Daddy food! Daddy food!"
I place two small pancakes on her daffy the duck plate before setting them down in front of her. I pour myself and Copeland some orange juice before sitting down to eat.
"Honey daddy's gonna have to leave you at daycare today. He has some important work to do." I sigh trying to explain to the three year old that I will be leaving her for a few hours. I used to have a baby sitter named Harry, since I switched jobs though I have different hours that he can't make.
"Where's Hawy?" She pouts.
"Harry's not gonna be here anymore honey. Daddy has a new job now." I try.
Her bottom lib wobbles a bit, "daddy leave me."
I shake my head vigorously, " no, no. Daddy's not leavin you forever. You can make new friend there and play and do all kinds of fun stuff. And then when the clock turns to two daddy's gonna be there to pick you up. Okay?"
She nods, holding up the number two on her tiny hand, "two?"
"Two"
