I came to Scott's house and rang the doorbell. When the door opened I saw a woman that I very much recognized because she was like a second mother to me. She literally jumped on me a started hugging me.
'Oh my God, Jessica. Look how you've grown.'
'Yeah, I know. I can't even recognize myself.' she laughed.
'Scott and Stiles are upstairs. Do you want something to drink?' she said going into the kitchen.
'No, thank you. I'll just go to Scott's room.'
I ran upstairs and went inside the first opened door.
'Oh, hi.' Scott said. 'I thought you forgot.' he smiled.
'Never.' I smiled back.
'So we thought we could give you a tour of Beacon Hills, since you haven't been in town for 10 years.'
'You lead, I'll follow.' I said and took off my beanie, forgeting about my injury.
'Oh, that's a pretty bad bruise. Where did you get that?' Stiles asked.
'Ask your buddy, Amber.' I said and put my beanie on again.
'She no buddy of ours, let me tell you that.' Scott said.
'Well, I did have a little crush on her in 9th grade.' Stiles said blushing.
'Dude, you were obsessed.' Scott and I laughed.
We went outside. They took me all over town. I saw the renewed park, monuments and every little detail I forgot about. Then we went inside the town's woods. I haven't told anyone from Beacon Hills my secret and it was killing me. I guess I trusted Scott enough to tell him.
'So, I have to tell you guys something.' I said.
'What?'
'It's actually really hard to explain.'
I told them everything my uncle told me. I even told them about the gay porno. After I finished, they were in shock for a couple of seconds, but then they just started to laugh.
'What's so funny? I just told you something I kept inside for 6 years years and you just laugh?!' I was pissed. I bet I looked pissed to.
'Jess, I'm a werewolf too.'
It just hit me. Seriously?! He's so casual about it. I've known this for basically 6 freaking years and I still get chills saying it.
'When did you find out?' I asked.
'What do you mean found out? Another werewolf bit me 6 months ago.' he said.
'Oh, you were bitten.'
'And you weren't?'
'No,' I said. ' I was born a werewolf.'
'Wow, so that explains your incredibly fast running and... everything! Well, it explains itself now.'
I laughed. Wow, we're both werewolves. This must be destiny or something.
'Oh, and Scott? Did that Derek guy find you? He asked me where you were today.'
'Yeah. Actually, there he is.' I turned around and saw him with two other werewolves. I guess he was training them.
The girl werewolf just jumped on him and started making out with him. I don't know why, but I started blushing really bad. And that's really embarassing.
'Derek!' Scott called him.
Derek ran to us.
'What are you doing here?' he looked at me and then looked at the two werewolves. One of them was really cute, by the way. 'Jessica, right?'
'Should I be flattered or scared because you remembered my name?' he laughed.
'Both.' he said and smiled.
'I guess I should explain what they are doing up there. And Scott should explain why he took you here.' he said and hit Scott lightly on the side of the head. 'We are actually roleplaying.'
Really, Derek? Roleplaying?
'As werewolves?'
'Yes.' he said.
'I know they're werewolves, Derek. I'm one myself.' I said.
'Really? Wow.' he said surprised. 'When were you bitten?'
'Was everyone here bitten? Am I the only werewolf born werewolf here? Wow, that sounds confusing.'
The two werewolves came down.
'You were born a werewolf?' the cute guy werewolf asked.
'Jessica, that is Isaac and this is Erika.'
Erika came up to Derek and went to hug him but he backed away.
'Yeah, I was born a werewolf but I've only been trained since I was 10.'
'Wow, that's a bit early to start training.' Erika said. I don't know but I felt like she hated me and I didn't really think she was lovely either.
'Maybe, but not for me.' I smiled.
We basically talked the whole afternoon and everyone was leaving, one by one. I wasn't really feeling like going home to my aunt who bought a first aid kit the size of her house, just for my bruise. So after some time, Derek and I were the only ones left.
'So, do you need a ride home?' he asked.
'No, but I don't feel like going home either.'
'Why?'
'Well, I have nothing to go home to. I don't really wanna go to my control-freak aunt.'
'Where are your parents?' he asked. I felt emotions just build up inside of me.
'They died when I was 5. When they died I moved to LA to my uncle's who taught me all about werewolves. His death was the hardest. Then I came here and right now I'm living with my crazy aunt. Who has no idea I'm a werewolf. But I still love her.'
He laughed. I don't know if it was sitting by the fire or the stars in the sky, but I really wanted to kiss him. I've known him for like a day, but I felt like I could trust him. And before I even thought about kissing him, he beat me to it. After he realized what he did, he backed away.
'Oh, sorry. I just...'
'It's okay. You have nothing to be sorry about.' I smiled.
'I'll drive you home, okay?' he said. He looked kind of ashamed.
'Am I that of a bad kisser?' I laughed.
'Of course not.' he said.
'Well, alright then.' I kissed him again.
We talked until midnight when I realized my aunt is gonna kill me. Derek drove me home, we said goodbye and I hoped I would see him again soon.
