Dipper sighed. He had been searching for someone to play with for hours.

Dungeons Dungeons and More Dungeons was so fun but, no one appreciated it, it seemed. Stan was busy, Mabel said it sounded like "homework, the game" and Soos preferred real life role play.

Chompers tried to eat the 38 sided die. Dipper pulled it out of the goats mouth, but it went flying underneath the Shack. Dipper muttered angrily to himself.

He crawled under the Shack to get it, but, the ground gave way and he fell deep into the earth.

Canis yelped and jumped out of the way as Dipper fell into the bunker.

"Nice entry," he smiled and helped Dipper up.

Ford walked in. "Dipper what did I tell you about coming in here? My work is too- is that a 38 sided die from Dungeons Dungeons and More Dungeons?"

Canis raised an eyebrow. "Who, who and what now?"

"I love that game!" Ford exclaimed, completely ignoring his apprentice.

"You wanna play?" asked Dipper a bit shyly. "Yes!" answered Ford.

Canis observed as they played and soon he was an expert at it. He became, Ignis the elf, leader of a band of thieves called the Dragons.

Ford was a master, setting complex traps that could spring at any second.

The three had so much fun that they forgot about lunch.

"I told you that he could be trusted," taunted Canis as he and Ford prepared for a sleepless night.

Ford grimly smiled,"You also told me that there was no way that the Cycloptapus could escape."

Canis snorted.

"Softie," he teased Ford.

"Sore loser," the other grinned.

The two had no idea that soon the game they were playing would take a deadly twist.
