chapter 9: Flame on Pt.2 (Castiel)

(Castiel's P.O.V.)

When I woke up I remember that I couldn't feel my wound. I looked and it was still bandaged, but there wasn't any blood. I wasn't bleeding which i thought was a good thing. I looked around and saw i was nowhere near civilization. Which meant that i was in the middle of a jungle or a forest. but i wasn't alone.

"who's there?" i asked. which as soon as i said i thought was dumb. like they were just gonna come out all friendly and stuff.

I heard rustling and thought that it must have been a little animal. and just as i was about to dismiss it a creature about 6 feet tall lunged out on me. all i could think of doing was running away. I mean I couldn't fight this guy with my injury. i tried to run but i slipped on the floor. stupid wet leaves.

"GAAAAHHHH!" yelled this thing. i slid to the left and got up. there didn't seem to be a way out, but to fight this thing. 

"Come on....thing. but your dukes up." i said. "let's settle this like men." i got in a fighting stance and i fake swung but as i did there was a huge fist of fire that hit the monster.

"Whoa!" i said "lets try this out! FLAME ON!!" and as I said this i burst into flame and i went to punch my attacker. he saw what i could do and he ran away.

"hah that's what i thought!" i yelled. i made a ball of fire in my hands and made it grow till it was big enough then i sent it upwards towards the sky. and i almost instantly regretted my decision.

I decided to let my flame die out and walk around. i was surprised that my clothing didn't burn off, but i decided not to think to much about it. i was walking around and then i 'bumped' into a couple of other teens. three girls who just seemed to be floating, one dude who had fire coming out of his hands and looked like he was flying like ironman, and then there was a dude who had metallic wings and he seemed to be using those to fly.

"hey!" said the fire guy, "was it you who sent out the beacon?" He seemed to be the leader, but the other guy looked like he would be fit to lead too. the girls seemed to respect them both but one seems confused.

"Hey, Avatar. How about you just chill?" said angel boy, "Let's land and then we can talk about this in a better fashion." he seems to be a peace keeper. But there is a leader way of the way he carries himself. these two seem to be rivals. 

The girls all land. angel boy lands and tucks his wings in. Fire boy sees that he's out numbered and he lands. he turns off his flame by clenching his fists. they seem like a really cool group of people but they also were blocking my way. and i need to get back to my dad.

"so did you or did you not send that flare up?" demanded fire boy. he was really starting to get on my nerves.

"Yea I did." I said. "but i didn't think that there was someone else in this place. but since there is and you are it, can you tell me where the hell are we?"

"sadly," said one of the twins, "we don't even know. we are looking for the rest of the people Marco there" (she pointed at angel boy) "saw. but before we even got the chance to look for  someone we saw your flare."

"by the way," said the other twin, "I'm Ashley, thats my twin Evelyn, the other girl's Kendra, fire boy is Eli, and angel boy is Marco. we all have powers just like you." that caught me by surprise. how did she know that i had powers? and why were the twins looking at me like that?

"Me and ashley can read minds." said Evelyn. "we also have telekinesis. but she has that down better than i do. Marco can shape shift, Kendra can create balls of light and stuff. Eli can do a lot and i think that there's still some sort of untapped potential left in him. So what can you so?"

Wow. This was a lot to take in. there was more people that can do thing that are unexplainable. 

"I can create fire with my hands," I said. "just like the human torch." and with that I burst into flame. it was awesome. But ashley didn't think so.

"Eli! help him!" she yelled. and with out hesitation, he lifted his hand and a whole lot of water came out of no where and fell on top of me. it put out my fire and drenched me.

"what the hell man?" I asked bitterly. my clothing couldn't be burned during flame mode but that didn't mean i couldn't get wet! but what if it did?

I turned on my fire and I let all the water evaporate. this time no one wet me.

"i can control fire, so it can't hurt me." i told Ashley. I get that she meant well but she was kinda dumb.

"I'm not dumb!" she exclaimed. dang i forgot that she could read minds.

"any ways we should probably go and look for the others." said Eli.

"yea," said Kendra "we don't know whats out there. waiting for the perfect moment to strike."
