Tia woke up breathing quick, shallow breaths. She had a nightmare that she was standing in front of her entire school, and had to give a speech, but she couldn't talk. Tia decided to get up, because trying to go back to sleep was pointless. As attempted to rise from her bed, her body went rigid. Tia couldn't move. She tried moving her arm, but it wouldn't cooperate. Finally, after ten minutes of struggling, Tia managed to get out of bed. She would later find out it was just her mind that was doing this.
