This story is based on my video series: "A Hermione and Aragorn Love Story" I just had a lot of requests to write this story down, so I did ^^ hope you like it.
I just wanted to inform you guys that I am going AU on both worlds with this story. I'll use objects from the books, but I'll transform them into different things. For example the Pensieve will occur in this story but will not have the same function. There is no ring nor a Voldemort, there will be bad guys you know originally as good guys.
I honestly did not have a lot of choice with creating this story, because it really is just a written form of my video series I made 2 years ago on Youtube. The problem is, making up a fanfiction with movies is NOT like writing one. There were only a limited number of scenes usable in the movies. And so, when I used those scenes, I just gave them lines that matched with the rest. So the story really just emerged out of the scenes I had available. To be honest, at the beginning, I had a TOTALLY different story in mind ^^... So if you think the tale is too abstract or making no sense, you can tell me, but I hope you can open your minds for a different Middle-Earth and wizarding world than the ones you know. So forgive me for changing the whole plot of the original books, but it is a fanfiction! And I hope you'll understand. I just have a wild imagination... lol
If you'd like to see these movies, go on youtube and search for "A Hermione and Aragorn Love Story." (I know it's not a very creative name xD) or watch the videos I put above every chapter; it is a 23 part movie series and the first editing videos I EVER made.
But know when you watch it, you will know the end of THIS story as well! It's up to you ;)...
Well have fun with whatever you intend to do next!_______________________

Hermione studied her own reflection in the rain-covered window in her room. She looked different than before she had left this world. Her eyes were red of tears and her cheekbones were coming out. She had lost a lot of weight, since she had been back home. In her eyes there was sorrow and she had been crying a lot these last weeks.
Raindrops were dancing on the sill, while she was standing in her room, watching herself in the window.
It was like a dream. There she was again in her house and her bedroom after six months being away, she finally was back with her parents and now she didn't know anymore if she wanted to be here. It didn't feel like home anymore.
She turned away from the window and the view on the neighbourhood to look at her room. At first sight the room looked like it belonged to a normal teenage girl; there was a desk and a bed and a shelf with books on it. The only difference was, that the books were about spells and wizards and the pictures on the covers were moving.
Her bed was made and it made Hermione sad. Her mother - or at least the person she had called her mother for the past ten years - was always there for her, when she had a problem. She had always made Hermione's bed and cleaned her room and now Hermione was sure, that she would miss her if she chose the path Ron had suggested her.
"My family needs me, like Middle-Earth needs you." The words of her best friend echoed in her ear and she knew he was right, but it was a really hard decision. Her life would change forever, if she would leave her home and she could never go back ever again to the life she knew. That thought scared her more than anything she had ever experienced, but she knew she had to do it. It would be selfish if she would stay here, she knew that wouldn't be the right decision.
"Mione! Tea is ready darling!" She heard her mother yell from downstairs.
"Coming mom!" Hermione's voice was shaky, but she did her best not to cry. Not now, this was the moment, where she had to be strong. In slow and thoughtful steps she walked down the stairs to enter the living room one last time.
"Hello darling, here's your tea. Watch out it is still hot." Her mother reached her a cup and looked at her. The witch tried to look away to hide the tears in her eyes.
"Is something wrong? You look sad.""No mom." Hermione did her best to appear normal. "I am just happy to be home." She lied.
"Me too." Her mother sighed and took her into her arms. The witch felt how her throat tightened; she knew she would burst out in tears any moment now."Come on let's have a nice afternoon, just the three of us." Her mother turned away from her to take place next to her husband, who was sitting on the couch sipping his tea. Her parents were sitting next to each other with their view away from her. They were talking and holding hands. They looked really happy together and Hermione knew they would always be. She now was sure of it, she would do it, she had to, she wanted to be as happy as they were. Slowly she took out her wand and raised it at her parents. She inhaled two or three times before she said the word that would erase her parents' memory of her. They would never recognize her again and she knew all the consequences of this spell, but watching her parents together, she was sure that she was doing the right thing.
"Obliviate." She whispered and a light flash came out of her wand. While she was holding her wand towards her parents, she watched how she vanished from the pictures in the room.It was done and she could not go back. Slowly she turned away from the people she loved and walked out of the door. She wasn't welcome here anymore, she was a stranger now and her bedroom was not hers anymore. She turned to look at the house she grew up in one more time and then she started to walk towards a different life, a different future and a different world.
