The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them. – Ernest Hemingway

Even though, they had finally been sleeping under a real roof, Hermione had been awake half of the night. She had been dreaming about fire again and whenever she had woken up she couldn't stop thinking about this Aragorn. She didn't want to join his party, but she knew Ron and Harry would not be very pleased if she would choose to continue traveling alone. She probably had to settle with the fact that they would now be under the protection of this stranger.
To keep herself busy, the witch had removed all of the books she had brought, out of her bag. She had opened every single one of them and scanned every page to find more information about apparating or traveling between worlds. Sadly she hadn't found anything just yet.
Frustrated she threw the books on the floor. How could it be, that there was nothing about this topic written down? She had always found everything about anything she needed to know in books and now, when she needed it most, she couldn't find any helpful information.
Biting on her lip she looked over to her friends. They were still sleeping tight and Ron was still making weird noises. He had been snoring throughout the night and she had almost woken him up because it had been very distracting.
The witch was sitting on her bed with her head resting on her hands. She watched the first rays of sun breaking through the window glasses. She hated staying up till dawn. With an aching head and heavy limbs, she climbed out of bed. There was no use in trying to fall asleep again. In a few hours they would have to get up anyway and Hermione was longing for a long hot shower. Wavering through the hallway, searching for the bathrooms, the headache got worse. She felt dizzy, due to insufficient sleep. A cappuccino would have been nice at this moment, but she assumed she could search forever for some coffee beans in this world.
The shower didn't really help to make her feel better either, but it felt good nonetheless. Feeling the warm drops of water on her body, made her feel alive again. It was a nice change to the ice-cold baths she had been taken in rivers, while traveling through Middle-Earth. For the first time since days she felt truly clean again.
"Good Morning." Harry had been sitting on his bed when Hermione entered the room after showering.
"Hey. Already awake?"
Harry nodded. "It is morning, isn't it? What about you? Did you get any sleep?"
"A little bit." She managed a little smile.
"Is it already morning?" Ron mumbled from under the sheets.
"The sun is out." Harry answered
The redhead yawned and stretched himself in order to get out of bed. "Damn, what a shame. It is so warm and comfortable in here."
Hermione gave him an irritated glance. "Yes you made that very clear with your snoring tonight."Harry chuckled. "Oh, that has nothing to do with comfort, he always sno– " He couldn't end the sentence, because he had to dodge a pillow, Ron had thrown at his head. "Shut up, Harry!"
"Guys, I would like to talk about our plan." The witch started to gather her belongings.
"We have plans?"
Hermione groaned and rubbed her nose bone with two fingers, the red-haired wizard was getting on her nerves. "Ronald, I am talking about the plan to set off with Aragorn and the Hobbits or not."
"Oh." He yawned again. "Well I am for going with them."
Harry nodded. "Yup, me too."
"Why?"
