~~~ok just gonna come out and be honest, this part is sad, and may contain triggers. So be warned. I actually had a panic attack writing this. So no worries! stay safe lovelies. ❤️~~~~~~
I sigh softly a sad smile on my face as I fumbled with the envelope. 'Do I really want to go? Well anything is better than trying to deal with all of this.' I say to myself and set the envelope on my bed and grab a chair, placing the rope around my neck. I had made this when I was in 8th grade. Now 22, I couldn't handle it anymore. I promised mom that I wouldn't but she passed and took the promise with her. Taking a deep breath I slowly start to kick the chair away, not wanting to alert my "family" of what I was doing. The chair falls and I look around my room one last time before my vision starts to tunnel then go black completely.
3rd person POV
As the chair fall your father shot up like a rocket and rushed upstairs, knowing what you where doing. "Nonononono!!" He screams as he cuts you down and clings to your body. He quickly calls an ambulance realizing you where still breathing, just barely.
The ambulance arrives and loads you up and stabilizes you. At the hospital you where constantly watched, your dad at home drinking his sorrows away, not caring to visit you.
After a few months in a coma you wake up in a bright room, no one around. Your father had not yet payed any bills or such, so they had taken you off of life support. You slowly sit up, your body sore and tired. Grasping the bed handle you get up and start to walk around getting your strength back. After a few hours you just walk out of your room, after you changed into your clothes, the new intern just assuming you were a visitor. As you walk outside you sigh, and feel the large scar around your neck. Pulling up the collar you head home to grab some clothes and then leave. No way in hell are you trying that again. Comas suck and are boring. You think before climbing up the oak tree and climbing into your room. Nothing had been touched since your suicide attempt. Quickly you raid your room and grab some essentials. Stuffing all of it into a large backpack with a sleeping bag, you throw it out the window and climb back down before heading to the train yard.
~~~hiiii :3 ok sad done. Sowwy!!!~~~~~

Your POV
I grab a schedule before a poster catches my eye,
Help wanted. Must be willing to move onto on site housing, all welcome. Past experience not necessary but helpful. Must be willing to make life time commitment.
'Sounds like my kinda job.' I quickly snatch the poster and stuff it in my jacket, before fixing my scarf, trying to hide my scars. Shortly after I sneak to the back of the train yard and hop onto a MANN CO. Train car, large boxes giving you cover and shelter from the elements. Laying out my things, I sigh and throw the suicide note out the open door. Not like I needed it since I didn't complete it. Anyways I sit at the edge of the train, looking at the scenery, and "aw"-ing at the occasional wildlife. Laying back I ride the train to the end of the line where they begin to unload the crates. Stretching I walk down the road a bit and nearly get run over my a girl on a purple moped. Gross. Anywho she stops, "Oh my gosh are you ok?" She asks getting and walking up to me. Scared I back up, my eyes wide like a cornered animal. Nodding quickly, I slowly pull out the flier. "Um... Not that I don't mind walking in the hot sun for 10 hours but could you drop me off near here or in a town?" Instantly her face lights up. "Actually I am the assistant to the Administrator. So hop on and let's see what we can do." she says cheerfully, and I slowly walk towards her. "Thank you so much. And-" I search my pockets before holding out a 20 dollar bill. "I-I know its not much but this is all I have to offer for your troubles..."
"Troubles? No it's not any trouble. I was on my way there anyways. Besides I've had to deal with a lot worse. {scout} And keep your money, but thank you." She says and hops back on the scooter, me quickly mounting it behind her. "I'll give you some time to fix up in the bathroom before introducing you to the Administrator."
"T-Thank you..." I say hoarsely, just realizing how bad I sounded. "I swear I don't do drugs. It's just a um... Scar I guess you could say."
"What happened?"
Suddenly I tense up and begin to have a panic attack. "I-I don't want to talk about it... I apologize."
"Don't apologize, I know the feeling." She says looking back at me sadly before turning a sharp corner and into a large, office like building. "Holy sweet Mary Jesus Joseph in heaven." I say my eyes wide in amazement. The lady giggles softly, "Oh and by the way my name is Mrs.Pauling."
"(Y/n)"
"Nice to meet you. Officially I guess." I smile softly, extremely uncomfortable in such a clean place with having not showered in God knows how long. Or any sort of clean. "The bathroom is up this hall on the left. Now I have some things to do but I'll be back for you soon. Just wait in the bathroom for me." I nod before rushing off, wanting to look as nice as possible. I step into the gender neutral bathroom and change out of my clothes, running them under water in the sink then drying them off with a blow dryer. I clean myself up the best I can before jumping as someone knocks on the door. "(Y/n)?" I unlock the door after dressing and Mrs. Pauling hands me a case of makeup. "It'll help."
"But-"
"I'll do it." She says before bursting in and quickly making my face look spotless and making my eyes light up a bit. I can use all the help I can get trying to get this job. I think before looking in the mirror and smiling. "Ok! Let's go!" She says and we quickly exit and head up a long, almost throne like set of stairs before reaching some large purple doors. "Now try not to be scared." She says before pushing them open.
