Grateful

I was awakened by the sound of rocks being thrown on my window. I mumbled angrily, "who the heck is being so annoying early in the morning?" and peered outside the window.

I gasped when I saw 13 idiots standing outside my house. Seungcheol seems to be fighting with Jihoon, both having a tug-o-war with a rock while the rest of the member cheered, causing a lot of noise outside my house.

Chan looked up at this moment and our eyes made contact. He waved and mouthed, "Good morning", smiling at me cutely. I blushed and smiled back, heart thumping loudly against my chest.

"Hey Chan. What are you looking at?" Hansol asked and looked up. The rest of Seventeen stopped whatever they are doing and looked in my direction. The moment they saw me, they broke into smiles and waved at me, shouting good morning and asking me to hurry up. I nodded and quickly headed to the bathroom.

"Good morning mom! I'm going to school now!" I called out as I ran down the stairs, fixing my tie. My mom stopped me when I'm slipping my shoes on and passed me a toast. "At least eat something before going to school. Work hard today." I smiled gratefully at my mom and hugged her, "I'm going off now!"

I opened the door to be greeted by 13 smiley faces. "Good morning!" They said in unison, smiling cheekily. I smiled, "good morning! What brings you guys here so early in the morning?" "We are friends right? So we should go to school together from now on. We will meet you at your house every morning." Chubby faced, Jeju-do Seungkwan explained.

I nodded and added, "I'm fine with it if you guys don't throw rocks on my window anymore." They laughed and agreed.

Tall guy no. 1 noticed my toast and whined, "Suyun ah! I want toast too! One bite?" I nodded and held up the toast for him to bite. Seungkwan protested, seeing this, "Not fair! Suyun, I want one bite too!" With that, other member starting asking for one bite of my toast. "I only have one toast guys. Not 13! So no" I stated firmly, which led to more whines and pitiful puppy eyes begging my toast.

I sweat dropped at this and slowly took a step back to which they hurriedly took a step forward, still begging for bread, "uh oh." I quickly turned around and bite my toast, "Bye!" and ran away. "Hey Suyun! That's cheating!" I laughed and turn back, "Last person to reach school has to buy me toast!"

This routine continue ever since then. Seventeen plus my best friends now making a ruckus in front of my house every morning and going to school together, sitting at the usual long table for lunch and meeting up in front of the school gates to hang out or walk home together. During this time, I had worked hard on memorising their names and faces, becoming comfortable and close to everyone. It had been one week now.

We were sitting in a big table, eating and talking when Seungkwan suddenly shouted, "Quiz time!" and turned to me. "Name all the members, Suyun!" I was taken aback. "H-huh?" was all I managed to say.

Seungkwan shrugged sassily, "we had spent one week together. You only knew Chan, Hansol and Seungcheol hyung when we first met. You got to know the rest of our names by now." Everyone nodded thoughtfully and looked at me expectantly, waiting for me to start. I gulped and took a deep breath.

I had never been so pressured in my life, I cried to myself mentally.

I pointed a shaky finger in Seungkwan's direction, "Seungkwan."

I then pointed to the long, silver hair guy. "Jeonghan".

The guy with blond, ramen head. "Minghao".

The smallest guy with pink hair. "Jihoon"

The Super Junior's Heechul look-alike. "Jun".

The guy with blond hair and slanted eyes, "Soonyoung".
