Chapter One: Exchange Student

Daniella's P.O.V

"Bye mom have a nice day!" I shouted while grabbing my packed lunch from the countertop.

"You to sweetie" she replied. "And don't forget the exchange student from Ireland is coming tomorrow!"

I shrugged my shoulders in response to my mom, while taking a bite out of my apple and running out the door. Like every Friday, my best friend Hannah was waiting for me near the stop sign outside.

"Hey, Hannah!" I yelled as I ran up to her.

"Hey Daniella, are we walking or busing?" Hannah always asked me this every Friday, and my response was always walking.

"Can we walk? I kind of wanna lose weight for summer."

"Oh my god Daniella, you don't need to lose weight!" Hannah's voice was starting to become loud.

I looked Hannah in the eyes and said"We'll uh thanks, but we both know that's not true."Hannah rolled her eyes and began to walk.

I started to walk faster to catch up to Hannah. " Hey can you come over tomm-"

"Hey guys!" Josh shouted.

"Hi!" Both Hannah and I said at once.

I've had a crush on Josh for 3 years now, and heck does Hannah know it.

"What do you guys have first period?" Josh said with a smile.

" what do you have first Daniella?" Hannah said smirking.

"Uh...I.. Have Spanish, what about you Josh?"

Ugh! I hated how he has been my friend/crush for 3 years, and I still get nervous around him.

"I have biology." He replied

" Guys stop flirting and hurry, the bell just rang!"

Myself and Josh both blushed,I swear I was as red as a tomato.

"We'll ill see you uh later." Josh awkwardly waved and left.

Gosh, I'm such an idiot why can't I just tell him!? Hannah and I walked in to Spanish class together, laughing about how easily I blush.

Josh's P.O.V

As I walked away from Daniella and Hannah I wondered if Daniella knows I like her. Who am I kidding I have no chance with her.

Ah finally biology class!
