Monday morning. Countdown until Valentine's Day. 5 more days until get the shock of the lifetime. God I'm terrified. As I am walking down the hallway, I noticed something rare and odd. The Wonder Hoes were crying. "What's wrong?" I say trying not to laugh. "You win!" the girls scream running to the bathroom. "Click, click, click ." "I win?" I ask myself. The amazing part to me is the fact that I saw these hoes CRYING.  All they do is make other people shed tears, but never their own. I shrug and continue to find Marie.

"Hey Girl." I say finally finding Marie through the crowds of thots and fuckboys. "Lemme tell you what I heard in the dressing room. "Marie says scooting closer to me. Yu know "juice" is good when the person leans in to spill it. "Go ahead." I say anxiously. "Tyler said that he loves you and he wants to you to love him the same amount he loves you if not more." She says ambiguously. "But..?" I ask pushing the information out of her. "HE IS GONNA ASK YOU OUT GIRL!" Marie screams.  She is so excited and loud. I'm shaking and all I can say was, "Oh my God."

It all became very clear to me now. "That's why those girls were crying." I thought. That ruined all chances they ever had at  getting back with him. I was speechless. "H...he wants to date me." I ask Marie. I'm still shocked. I can't  wait to see him to heat what he has to say. I'm scared shitless right now. How can I get out of this? I pull my notebook out and write . "Yeah, its been a minute since I wrote, and I got hella shit on my mind right now." I continued.

It felt like fire was coming out of my pen instead of ink. I was just about to get to the part where Tyler allegedly wanting to date me, when the stupid bell rang. "Shit!" I say dropping my pen and closing my book. As I grab my bag and began walking down the  hallway, I noticed Tyler standing in the middle of the hall. It was like everyone around us froze in time. "What the hell ?" I ask myself.  Everyone wasn't frozen. They were just moving real slow. Slow like going into the process of being completely still. Finally, I'm standing in front of him. He smiles down at me and says, "Hey baby."

"So, I've been upgrades from beautiful to baby, huh?" I say taking a step closer to him. "Yeah , that's what I've been meaning to talk to you about." Tyler says scratching his head and blushing. All this time we've been talking, I have never seen him act this way. "Yes?" I sat stepping A LOT closer. "Oh my God. DE'laine, I-... I fucking love you. I can't go another day without calling you mine. I love you so much. It's killing me! Can you be my girlfriend?" Tyler says with pounds of love in his eyes.

I was in total shock. HOLY SHIT! "Tyler, yes I will! Oh my God." I say with the biggest grin on my face. Tyler picked me up like I was nothing and kissed me right on the lips. It's been a long time since I've felt this way. "Oooo." The hallway sang.  I was laughing so hard. I didn't give two shits what they were saying. "Marie!" I scream for my friend. Low and behold she crept out of the crowd with tears in her eyes.  "Hey big brother." Marie says giving Tyler dap. "Tyler is my man. Is that even believable?" I ask myself as I lean into his hard chest

Tyler kisses and says, "I love you, baby. I'll be waiting outside of you last class, so I can take you home." "Okay, baby." I say kissing him one last time. Jesus it's so new. I haven't  called a guy
baby in forever. I liked it. I enter my last class and I couldn't sit down long enough without hearing, "Oh my God! She's dating Tyler. Ugh that lucky bitch." I turn around and say, "Is you thirsty bitches jealous or nah?"  Them girls went hush mode real quick.

I wanted Tyler to take me home, but I was scared about what my mama and daddy were going to say. "Ring!" screams the bell. "Shit!" screams my brain. I slowly pack up my things. My teacher says," Um DE'laine, there is someone waiting for you." I look at the door to find Tyler standing there with a grin on his face. I snap my neck to look back at my teacher. I ask myself, "Now, how the hell the TEACHER know?" I look at Tyler and storm out the room. "Bye Mrs. Pickens." I say rolling my eyes slamming the door.
