I'd say this chapter being uploaded makes me quite the champion if not for the fact that the last time I uploaded was before Christmas. It's only short because I have work to do. Same deal as last time, vote or comment with feedback please!

"Hello, there, Marnie," a sweet voice whispers into your ear. You turn and see a familiar pale golden-haired girl with black eyes smiling sweetly at you. You get up from the bed.
"Hello," you smile back, "Who are you?"
The girl who stands at your height turns away and with her finger she traces a word across the padded wall. The letters burn brightly like the flames of Hell.
Jessamine.
"I'm your friend, Marnie. We're going to be best friends!" she says eagerly, smoothing her red dress.
"Really?" you cannot believe your luck. She wants to be your friend? Does she know your secret? "Don't you know what I did?"
"You did nothing. I know that."
"Really? But I thought-"
"Shh!" she says, flattening herself up against the wall as the door opens. The breakfast tray is wheeled inside and you take your cereal and plastic spoon to the table. Jessamine stands next to you as you eat.
"Do you want some?" you ask. She wrinkles her nose in disgust and shakes her head. The man with the tray says declines, thinking that you are offering it to him. You and Jessamine laugh together.
"Call me Jessie," she smiles again and slips out of your cell as the
breakfast man does.
That night as you go to bed, Jessamine reappears. Normally the suddeness of such a greeting would scare you but her presence fills you with a sense of misplaced serenity.
"Goodnight, Jessie," you smile. Her pretty face twists into a mask of rage.
"Don't call me Jessie!" she shouts.
"But you said -" you begin, almost scared.
"My name is Jessamine!"
"I'm sorry, Jessamine!" you wipe tears from your green eyes and push your brown hair from your face.
Her face returns to normal and her voice drops to a whisper,"I know what you did, Marnie. You killed your sister."
"No, I didn't! You said-"
"I lied. You murdered her. It started when that boyfriend of hers came into the picture. You loved her and you didn't want to share her."
"So why would I kill her?" tears stream from your eyes and wiping them away is futile.
"Because you thought she was perfect, and when her grades began to slip, you couldn't take it. She was undermining your perception of her so you had to get rid of her before you she tainted the image further."
"No, no, no..." you whisper.
"Marnie?" a familiar, friendly voice asks. It's Dr Forsyth. You look up at him and try to wipe the tears away.
"Who were you talking to?" he asks.
"I was talking to..." your eyes dart back to Jessamine and the doctor follows your gaze. Jessamine presses a finger to her lips and the doctor doesn't appear to see her. "No one, Doctor."
He hesitates and nods, deadlocking the door.
"Goodnight, Marnie," Jessamine giggles in her shrill voice. You promptly fall asleep clawing at the air in a futile attempt to hold onto consciousness, "Sweet dreams!"
But your dreams are far from sweet. For the first time since Hannah's death they are not haunted by Him, but the faceless ghost of a shrill- voiced girl has taken His place, taunting you with what, in her opinion, is plain truth. Objective fact. That Hannah is dead and it's
all. Your. Fault!
