Never Let Me Go || Young Derek Hale

Scarlett POV

I woke up for another day of high school sophomore year to be exact. I got out of bed and took a shower, once I was done I got out dried off put on bra and panties and went to my closet to choose what to wear.

I chose Maroon skater skirt, black laces long sleeve crop top and paired with black combat boots. I went to my vanity to do loose curls in my short light brown hair and did my makeup, mascara and a little bit of powder.

After I was done I grabbed my bag and went downstairs to see my mom not here again, my mom works at the hospital she mostly works night shift but i guess not today. I grabbed my car keys went out to my car and headed to school.

Once I got to school I parked my car got my bag and headed for the doors of the school, When i got inside i went to my locker to get my books. I got my chemistry book out first right as my friend Olivia came out of nowhere.

"Hey girly." she said hyper. But really when is she never hyper.

"Hello what's got you so hyper?"

"Tonight there's party at Glenn's house sophomore and junior only. We are definitely going." she said almost bouncing off the hall way walls. Really another party for teens to get wasted or high and let their hormones out. Seriously.

"Um I don't know. Maybe next time." i said to her. I rather sit at home and watch 80s movies.

"Come on Scar just this one favor for me please, Greg's going and you know how long I've liked him. Please." she said giving me the puppy dog eyes that I can't resist.

"How about I think about it okay?" I said as the bell rang and I went to class.

I got to chemistry and sat in my seat as the teacher came in and started to talk.

"Okay class we will be getting new seats so everyone get up from your seats, and wait for me to tell you where you are going to sit." he said as everyone groned. We do this every month to 'get to know other in the class'.

Why get to know them if I'm most likely never going to see them after high school.

Mr Wilson started naming off names until I heard my name as I was put in the very back, I got to my new seat as i heard who's next to me.

"Derek Hale you are next to Scarlett." he said as I groaned loudly and rolled my eyes.

"Is there a problem Miss M?" he said looking me as I shook my head and mumbled a no. Derek sat next to me and smirked.

Hope you guys like this story so far even though it's the first chapter. Lol. I already have ten chapters done but i want to see who likes it so far.
