Take me or Leave me (Kian Lawley Fan Fiction)

Chapter 3

"Okay so this is my house!" Kian points to a house in which is the biggest house in the world. No even over-exaggerating. My mouth dropped. 

"You're shitting me! That house is huge!" They both look at each other and back at me then start laughing. We continue the pretty entertaining walk around the neighbourhood. They showed me the dog park, the near-by elementary school, parks, corner stores, McDonald's, places they like to hang out and the near by high school that, I also found out they go to, I'll be attending. 

I now have a pretty good understanding of the surrounding area, Well i did until they completely got me disoriented by walking towards the boardwalk that faced the dark blue waters of the ocean. The sun was beginning to hide behind the horizon leaving the clouds orange. The orange reflected from the water into my eyes as all three of us walked observing the attractions and stores and clubs.

We would all laugh at the girls and guys wearing stupid items of clothing, like on girl was wearing 8 inch high heals that were neon yellow with glowing lights on it and she had pink hair. I thought it looked like cotton candy. 

We walked through a few stores, and we had a few kids around our age come up to Sam and Kian, saying hi and high-fives. Kian would then explain that they went to our school and what type of kids they were. Skaters, Bloggers, Nerds, Gifted, Middle, Popular... I had a feeling that Kian and Sam sort of ran the school, socially. But at the same time they weren't stupidly cocky and obnoxious. Within 2 hours of being in this town I have made friends. I guess I didn't need to worry about the social part of moving. 

After stopping for what were the BEST MILKSHAKES EVER! Kian and Sam pointed out that there was a "teens" club just around the corner and the admission cost was only 2 dollars. I scrambled my pockets to find any sort of money I could find. 

"I'll pay for you! Don't worry!" I looked at him and he smiled down at me. 

"I'll pay you back... PROMISEEE!" I hugged him, acting really childish. 

"No need too! Take it as a welcome present!" He said smiling and i playfully stuck my tongue out at him and he just laughed. We walk around the corner and I can hear the music from the shake stand, so as I approach the club, I can begin to feel the pounding of the bass through the ground. 

"SAMMMMMMM!" A really pretty girl runs up to my new found friend and hugs him, he hugs back and smiles. 

"Hey, Babe!" He says breaking the hug. 

"Girlfriend?" I ask quietly to Kian. He laughs and responds with a yes. We leave Sam with his girlfriend and Kian and I walk into the club. Immediately he gets hounded by these teenage guys. At first my existence was irrelevant until a cute guy looks at me and asks Kian,

"Hey bro, who's the chick?" Loud enough for me to make out the words. All the guys turn their heads towards me. Most of them smile politely but some of them just look curiously. 

"This is Laura. She's new to town, from Canada!" Kians answers. 

"Cool. I'm James,That's Jared," He points to a tall blondish guys in a tank top. 

"This is Troy," James points to a tall dark haired boy that looks like he should be on a teen magazine.

"Carver, and Mason" They were identical twins, and the sight of all these guys blew me away. Wow, California guys really are gorgeous. And it turns out that they all go to the high school I'm going to, and i'll be having lunch with them. 

Suddenly the music dropped. The DJ, announces "Hey everyboddyyyyyyyy! Hope you are having an amazing time! Now it's time to slow it down, so grab a special someone!" The song "I won't give up" starts playing and I feel someone tug my hand to the middle of the room.

"Common!" Kian says. I hesitate then place my hands around his neck and his hands on my hips. He starts to sway me from side to side, and slowly circling in circles. It feels like I was in a dream. I laid my head on his chest as we danced, I can hear his heart go at a steady passe. I closed my eyes, and hummed along to the words of the song.The song was over and Kian hugged me.

We walked back to his friends. The boys laughed as I got pulled away from a girl.

"Hi! I'm Kartiina!" The girl was about my height. She had perfectly straight brown hair, green eyes, the color of an emerald, she's wearing a pink v-cut t-shirt and short high waisted shorts, that were ripped in a few places. 

"Hey, I'm Laura!" I return the smile she sent me. 

"So I've heard!" She giggles. "Soooooooo? You and Kian, huh?" I giggled at the fact she said huh. I wonder how many people are gonna tease me for saying "eh?" 

"I meet him today. I just moved here from Canada. We actually just got here today!!" I smiled. 

"Ahh are you going to the same high school as Kian?" I nodded and she gleefully said that she was also going to that school. She asked me if I knew any of my courses or if i knew where my locker was. I still had no idea. She informed me that all the grades have lunch together. grade 9's have 3rd period, grade 10 (us) had 4th period, grade 11 had 2nd periods, and grade 12s 5th period. 

"Can i get your number?" She asked with a big smile across her face, I handed her my new IPhone 5 and she handed me hers. She spells her name with 2 "i"'s interesting. 

"Hey!" I feel a hand on my shoulder, i jumped just to find out that it was Kian. I looked up at him and stuck my tongue out at him. 

"You scared me!!!!!!" I laughed out. He just smiled. 

"Wanna go now?" He asked. 

"Sure!" I smiled and both me and Kian walked out of the club and walked side by side down the harbor front. We end up walking down a long dock and sit at the end. 

"So, what does your mom do?" He asks tilting his head to look at me. 

"She's an accountant." I respond softly. "It's so beautiful here!" I leave his eye contact to peer at my surroundings. The sun has completely gone down, the gentle wind through the trees makes music to my ears. The ocean is very calm and slowly coming up and down the shore line.

"How about you?" I ask turning back to him. 

"What about me?" He grins at me like a child. 

I giggle. "How about your family?" I ask. 

"There's nothing much too them. Basic family I guess!" He comments. 

"Here! I'll ask you random ass questions and you have to answer them!" 

I nodded, not sure of what he was trying to accomplish. 

"Favourite Colour?" 

"Blue" I spat. 

questions very similar to that were exchanged for answers. Favorite food: Pringles and frozen yogurt Favorite Drink: Arizona so on... 

 "Wow. We have a lot in common." He says looking down on me. I giggled and smiled at his comment, i've honestly never felt so comfortable with someone so quickly, and it felt nice. 

"Well Laura, tomorrow is the last day of freedom for you before school. would you like to come to my house and hang out with a bunch of friends tomorrow?" I respond with an "i'd love to" and we start heading back to my house, pasing the dog park, and convience store that is getting a tad bit fumiliar. I think i'm gonna like it in California. 

"nice meeting you, Laura! I hope i see you tomorrow!" he says politely 

"Bye Kian! Thank you!" I giggled, and with that we both parted ways. He keep walking and I made it to my new house. I actually can't wait for tomorrow! I'm excited. 

Now to find my bed.... huh.
