hi guyssss, this chapter is long af but it had alot of cute moments and where the two main characters meet. I hope you enjoy!

"cassie get your lazy ass up" I sighed hitting her in the face with my pink fluffy pillow "mmh, no" she smirked before taking her pillow and covering her face.

Sighing I got out of bed, rubbed my eyes and smiled "you have pre-band, and you cont be late now gET UP" she huffed, but eveuntully got up. "thank you "

by the time Cassie got up it was around 7:45 and we didn't have to be at the school ti'll 9.

Smiling I got up went to the bathroom, did what I had to brushes my teeth washed my face as Cassie banged on the door. "hurry up, it doesn't take 3 years to brush your teeth" she sighed grabbing some food and eating it.

I laughed and started to curl my hair and read a wattpad story "bro, don't get all dresses up, its just pre-band, you'll probably do nothing anywase" she smirked before trying to wash her face.

"well just because you don't think any cute guys will be their doesn't mean I don't think any cute guys will be their" I sighed before Turing off the curling iron and putting hair spray into my hair.

Turing my car off I smiled as I glanced over and found Cassie asleep "bro" I shook her lightly "brO"

when she woke up she looked around and scoffed "why do we have to come" she snarled before grabbing her trumpet and walking out of the car. "thanks"

I was wearing a shirt that I had gotten over the summer, and some dark blue capries and some flip flops with my hair slightly curled. It was shot outside so I pit my hair up "well their goes 15 muinets of curling it" casie laughed "oh shut up"

When we got inside I found a person that I thought was really cute, the guy with the hot pink sunglasses "hey Cassie" I wisperd loud enough to where she could hear me "what" she asked getting her trumpet ready "he's really cute bro" I laughed lightly looking at him

he had brown curly hair big brown eyes and pink sunglasses sitting atop of his face, for when the sun hits is eyes. "I think he's a trumpet player, idk tho" she shrugged "well I guess we'll see"

sitting outside on the curb, I sighed "this won't take long, only like 15-45 muinets" she smiled before getting in place. Then the guy with the bright pink sunglasses appeard. "hey, I'm kam and imma be your squad leader" he laughed before going around telling them all what to do.

Soon he came over to me, "do you have your trumpet.?" he asked me, his bright pink glasses covering his eyes from the sun "mmh" I looked up from my phone looking at him "do you have your trumpet " he repeated, blushing a little I muttered "n-no" he laughed "so your just here for fun, no one comes here for fun" he laughed

"no, I'm here with Cassie and my mom had to work" I smiled he smiled back before going back to whatever he was doing.

I sighed and placed a hand over my heart trying to control my heart rate. "Katie you okay.?" Cassie asked "yeah, I'm going to get a class of water want one?" "sure"

getting up slowly and placing my phone iny back pocket I sighed, passing kam I smiled lightly at him and he smiled back.

'their goes the butterflies again'

I shook the thoughts out of my head and walked over to the water thingy, grabbing a cup I filled it up about half way, and drank it all then filled it up again. throwing that cup away I grabbed another one for Cassie.

Starting my way back over the the trumpet section I placed the cup down and waited for Cassie to get a break. while I was sitting this girl with really short hair and blue eyes came running over "sorry I'm late, sorry I'm late" she said panting "its okay sit down for a few to catch your breath" kam said as she was sitting down

"hi, I'm Katie" I smiled she smiled back and extended her hand "Amy" I smiled.

"so why where you late" I asked her, she glanced at kam then back at me "oh, I woke up to late" she laughed, I smiled and waited for her to leave

"hey you" kam called, I was to involved in my phone I had no idea he called me "'mrs. I don't have a trumpet' " he called again I looked up and pointed at me and mouthed the words "me.?" he nodded then laughed as I got up. "you've been in band before right"

"yeah begging band" I laughed "well they can teach you what to do, I have to go work with this other group mkay" he smiled before going off to another section

"okay, Katie so what you do is-" I tuned out staring at kam trying to figure out what he was doing. "-and I think thats what you have to do" Cassie's smiled before backing up into the straight line

"I don't think I can do this" I sighed "yeah you can I believe in you" Cassie and Nikki and that Amy girl said. I lightly smiled before tying.

I snapped three times then said 'tweet, tweet, tweet tweet tweet, and one to three four-" then kam walked over "mmmmh. your doing it wrong" he laughed butting his hands on my shoulder "o-oh sorry i-i'll sit down" I said blushing as I walked away he grabbed my hand and teacher me how to do it right.

While he was teaching me, all I could do was blush when he was talking to me.

'and Cassie said their where no cute guys' I chuckled to myself
