Nice to Meet You

*Niall's POV*

I went upstairs and slammed the door. My heart was racing and my breath was heavy. Memories of all the physical and emotional pain I caused her flashed through my mind. I was a monster. I don't deserve to live. I'm such a fucking bastard. I hate myself. I was now bawling. I wish I could back in time and change I did to her. I want to feel the same pain she did.

"Niall" Liam said snapping me out of my thoughts, "Mate, I've calling your name for ten minutes!'

"Sorry, I was thinking about something"  I said

"And what is that?" He questioned 

"I-I can't tell you" I said. I was too scared.

"Niall, why did you do that to her?" He asked. catching me by surprise.

"W-What ?" 

"She told us what you did, Nialler. Now tell me, why did you do it?"

"I don't know mate, she didn't deserve it. She never did any wrong to me.'' I said crying.

"Niall, you're in love with her, aren't you" Liam said

"Y-Yes, but she won't love me, I'm a monster. I did so many horrible things. And I won't blame her if she doesn't forgive me...but I want her to. Liam, what  I did is one of the biggest mistakes of my life! there is no explanation for what I did." I said.

"Niall, I think you start small... like apologizing for today." Liam said

"Yeah, you're right, thanks Liam." I said getting out of bed and went to the living room. All eyes were on me.

'' Ariel... Can I talk to you alone please" I said a bit shaky

"No. I'm not going to stand here and let you hurt her more than you already did" Harry yelled standing up and walking towards me

"Harry, come back here. I'll go talk to him. Just stay here."  Ariel said standing up and followed me to my room.

"What do you want?" She said

"I wanted to say sorry... for what I did today. I know that over reacted."

"I can forgive you for what you did today... but not for the past... it just hurts so much... I hope you can understand that." She said. knowing that I caused her so much pain brings tears to my eyes.

"Why are you crying" Ariel said bringing her soft hands to my cheeks and using her thumb wiped my tears.

*Ariel POV*

"Because it hurts me... knowing that I caused so much pain. I just want to go back and change that." Niall said. I look into his blue eyes. I could see the regret in his eyes. I wanted to forgive him but  I was scared that he might hurt me again. So I did something else.

"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Ariel and you are?" I said extending my hand. He look confused for a second and then realized what was happening and spoke

"I'm Niall, nice to meet you" He said shaking my hand. I gave him a small smile and he gave me one back. At that moment everything felt right. I just hoped it stayed that way.
