THE HIDDENS

Chapter 4

Next day.
There is 33 kids
There will be 9 classes per day. First make your own meal, 2 choice ,3 math
,4 reading ,5 make own meal ,6choice 7writing ,8eating ,9 cleaning this is the schedule for everyday except Sunday. Sunday milk Majestic ,make food, read ,write ,lunch nap/bible reading ,math and tend others class eat clean sleep. In the loft we had an old paint that when you draw on it you can erase it. (Chalk boards weren't invented yet). The first choice class is sewing/kniting/weaving or hunting and second choice is tending animals or tanning hides. One day you will do your choice the other day you do the other you didnt chose. You will hopefully get one choice per day. There are 6 kids to  young to do anything,including my siblings. Today Princess will stay here while in off searching for my parents. She teaches sewing/kniting/and weaving and tanning hides, while tomorrow she'll search and I will teach hunting and tending animals. I am so exited I make it half way down the ladder before jumping off. I open Jenny's stall door and call bye to everyone. They respond saying "Bye miss hiddens", its so cute.  I close jenny's stall door and hop up on her back. I can't belive how much I've missed the fresh air. It is so exiting to be outside even it is freezing. And we are off galloping across hills looking at aything tht might tell me where they are. Im starting to hed back as it gets dark quickly being winter, when suddenly I shriek.

It is a shriek of joy. Foot prints adult foot prints and they are not fancy empire people prints either. I will turn around for today and tell Princess when I get back. Sadly I turn around, but intelligently leaving broken branches and markers telling me which way to go. When I get back the kids are sleeping and the animals are taken care of. I grab some left overs which are covered and waiting for tomorrow's breakfast. I see Princess singing to one of the babies. She looks up and motions at me to come over. I tip toe quietly towards her.

"How did it go?" She asks kindly.

"Well thanks, and how did the classes go today?" I respond.

" A bit chaotic but nothing major went wrong" she answers smiling brightly.

I can't wait any more I loudly whisper.

"I found tracks of shoes and boots , not fancy empire ones."

"Really don't joke it's not funny, there is no way you found something on your first try." She says.

Looking at my face a look of realization shoots across hers.

"Wait your serious, really where,
please do tell?!"

"In the forest and I left broken branches and xs along the path.

Tomorrow take Jenny and follow them as far as they go before it gets dark." We both nod and the crawl onto our separate hay bales. Thinking about today I fall asleep.
