Chapter Two

NIALLS POV

"How was school?" Mine and George's mum asked, as we walked through the door. "School was great!" I said, Trying my best to put on a fake smile "How about you George?" She said turning to look at George.

George gulps..."F-F-Fine" George isn't really comfortable with the idea of lying to our parents. We wouldn't have to lie if it wasn't for Zayn, Josh, and Louis.

"C'mon George" I drag George upstairs and into my room. "What happened?" I ask George as soon as I shut the door close "What do you mean?" George didn't even need to tell me, I could tell he was clearly confused about my question.

"How and why did Josh beat you?" He sighs and gulps "I was walking in the hallway in search for Harry and....." George stops talking for a moment to let the tears fall from his eyes. Poor boy he is in so much pain! George takes a last breath and gulp and then continues.

"I heard someone calling me and I thought it was Harry....so me being the idiot that I am went towards where my name was being called and there I found..." He stops once more and gulps "There was Josh...with his evil smirk, He then grabbed me and he slammed me against the lockers and started to punch and kick me where ever he can reach...and no one even tried to help me! They just laughed at me!"

After he was done he couldn't hold it anymore, Yeah he was crying while telling the story but this time he cried a lot "I-I-I L-Love H-H-Him!" He cried out and suddenly we hear a knock on the door "Boys? is everything alright?" Mum enters the room.

"Yeah, Everything is fine!" She raises an eyebrow and I can clearly tell she wasn't convinced "Then why is George crying?" she walks over to him and rubs his back and gives him a hug. "Oh it's because we have a big exam coming up and George is almost positive he is going to fail...so he is sad about that" I lie and she seems to buy it!

"Don't worry honey, You're going to pass that test! You are smart!" She says as she walks out the door "Oh and dinner is almost ready!" and then she closes the door.

"Thanks" He simply says, but I know what the 'Thanks' was for. "No problem"

"Do you wanna know something weird?" George suddenly says out of no where "What?" I say, What could George be up to?

"After getting beat up by Josh I ran into Harry and he was covered in bruises" He says but I don't get what he could mean by that "Yeah...and?"

"The bruises looked faked!"  I shaked my head "No...that's impossible! How could you make fake bruises?!?" George wipes his tears away "The same way you get rid of them..Makeup" I stay speechless but then I think of something

"Now that you mention it, Today when I saw him he got rid of the bruises fast! but what if we're not sure and Louis hurt him too badly that they look fake!" George nods and laughs "You always have an excuse for everything huh?" I throw a pillow at him.

"Don't be rude!" I tease "I don't want to go to school tomorrow" George whispers "I know kiddo..I don't either, I don't wanna face Zayn and I know you don't wanna face Josh" A few more tears fall from George's eyes.

Me and George are brothers and we are the same age, even though he is the same age as me I still see him as my younger brother who I have to protect no matter what! Even if it means standing up to Zayn, Josh, and Louis.
