It was about three when they got out of class.

Chrissy clapped her hands together.

"Let's get started!" She announced.

Clara flopped down on the couch with a bag of chips.

"I'll supervise." She smirked.

"Actually, it's your turn to go for food. Congrats, you're out of the cleaning." Chrissy grabbed Clara's arm and pulled her up.

"You're like half my size, that's not going to work." Clara told her.

Chrissy huffed and walked away.

Clara stood up and left, grabbing her motorcycle keys.

"Fine. See you in an hour." She called as she left.

Vera laughed. "She's going to be gone so much longer than that."

"She's getting the stuff, why take her motorcycle? There's no way she'll be able to hold it all and ride." Joanna pipes up from where she's picking up all the socks scattered throughout the living room.

"I think Clara has a secret way to do that." Bianca says, as she wipes down the table.

"Here and the kitchen is all we have to clean, anyway. It's not like they'll be going anywhere else." Chrissy glances at her sweatpants and shrugs.

"Damn it. You sure?" Vera sighs.

Bianca and Joanna laugh.

"You never know." Bianca smirks and winks over to Chrissy.

"THESE. ARE. NICE. BOYS. YOU. WILL. NOT. CORRUPT. THEM." Chrissy hits Vera and Bianca with one of the couch pillows with every word.

Joanna is on the floor in hysterics.

"Man, I can't wait until they actually get here." She comments, flinging a sock across the room.

"Why the hell are there so many socks?" Bianca asks, throwing away a paper towel.

"Do any of them match? How bad do they smell?" Vera looks at some.

"No and awful." Joanna wrinkles her nose.

"Clara's." Vera says immediately. "She never matches her socks. And her feet smell horrid."

Everyone laughs at that.

Chrissy starts to get out the vacuum.

"Oh no, bitch. That is MY job." Vera walks over and takes the vacuum away.

"What am I supposed to do, then?" Chrissy sighs.

"Put the sock pile with the laundry that CLARA WAS SUPPOSED TO DO." Vera tells her.

"She's not here, you know." Joanna puts a hand on Vera's shoulder.

"She can sense when I'm shouting at her." Vera turns around, smirk in place.

Chrissy picks up the pile of socks and walks to the laundry room.

"These are my friends. What am I gonna do?" She mutters to herself, a smile on her face.

They finished cleaning at five.

"Why'd we send Clara again? She can't make a decision to save her life." Joanna says from where she's laid out on the couch.

"Well, she hasn't called yet. That must mean something." Chrissy mumbles.

"I'm not even expecting her back for another hour." Vera announces.

"What are we supposed to do until then?" Bianca calls out from the floor.

"We could watch porn." Vera suggests.

"Sounds like a plan." Bianca sits up and Joanna nods.

Chrissy, on the other hand, looks horrified.

Vera's phone receives a text.

"It's Clara. She wants to know why I'm yelling at her about laundry again." Vera laughs.

"Ask her what the fuck takes so long to buy food." Joanna dazedly calls.

After a moment, Vera's phone vibrates again.

"She says 'Bite me.' So, it's going well." Vera states.

"How d'you know that?" Bianca asks.

"My Asian third eye. It knows all."

After another 45 minutes, the girls are back to asking what they should do.

"How about help Clara with the stuff?" Clara announces from the doorway, arms full of bags.

"How much did you get?" Chrissy's eyes widen when she sees all the bags around the motorcycle.

"Enough. We're housing five teenaged dudes. And me." Clara says.

"What took so long?" Joanna groans.

"I had to rob a bank on the way." Clara states, completely serious.

They unload the bags, and look at all the food Clara bought.

"Subs, fruit trays, chips, chicken wraps, popcorn. They're here for a few hours, not days." Chrissy glances at Clara who gives a small smile and shrugs.

"I couldn't decide. So, I just got a lot."

"Alright girls, we have an hour before they're supposed to get here. And there's nothing to do." Chrissy sinks into a chair.

"We can put the food on the table in front of the couch. Or, on the floor and set up a bunch of pillow and blanket spots. We won't all fit on the couch and two chairs." Joanna grins.

Everyone nods in agreement. So they take pillows and blankets and make a nice spot on the floor.

"I'll make the popcorn!" Clara jumps up.

"No! You won't." Chrissy shouts.

Bianca stands up. "I'll make it." She walks off to the kitchen.

"Why can't I?" Clara pouts.

"Because. Last time you tried, you almost set the kitchen on fire." Vera reminds her, placing a hand on Clara's shoulder before pulling it away almost immediately.

"And burnt the popcorn." Joanna frowns.

Clara crosses her arms and leans back onto the couch.

The doorbell rings when Bianca brings in five bags of popcorn.
