As I rode in the passenger side of his car I was thinking of all the ways my life is going to change. I may finally live up to the dream that Mother always wanted for me. She wanted me to be an actress almost as much as I wanted it myself. She wanted to go to the movies and see me on the big screen. I always looked up to my mother, so moving to Hollywood was a tad bit easier knowing she was pushing me towards stardom.

He lit a cigarette and as the end turned to ash finally came back to present time.

"Where are we going?" I asked cautiously not wanting to annoy him.

"We are going back to my apartment to discuss your role" He said with a smirk. Everytime he gave me that wide smirk I seemed to light up inside. He made me feel safe and wanted like no man has ever made me feel before.

I gave a small smile back trying not to show off too much confidence, since that wasn't very becoming.

"What is the movie about?" I pondered.

"Oh" He hesitated thinking "I don't remember exactly, but I tell you darling, you will be the star of it."

I gave no second thought to his hesitation because even though we had just met, I seemed to completely trust him. Joshua Killington seemed like the man I wanted to marry, infact I find myself falling for him every time I look into his bright blue eyes which stood out against his tanned skin and dark chestnut hair.

For the rest of the ride I continued to ask questions about the movie, yet as I asked more and more he seemed to know less then you would expect a producer to know. We got to his apartment around 7:25 giving us the perfect amount of time to talk about the role before I had to get home. I have to put my hair in rollers every night so I don't like staying out too late.

He lived in a small dingy apartment  that looked similar to mine. As soon as he brought a cheap bottle of scotch and a water glass I became weary of everything. I didn't question it though because I didn't want to seem rude since I was a guest and my parents taught me manners.

After a drink I stood to leave but found myself tripping after every step. I felt very disoriented and out of control of my body. I didn't realize Joshua was in front of me until he was blocking me from exiting his apartment.

Immediately I knew something was wrong.
