Love at First Sight

The first story to make in my entire life! Well , at least my first time on here. Please give me some encouraging comments and no mean ones. I don't have time for those! Other than that, comment, like, and Enjoy! ^_^

Max' P.O.V.

Being in school is a bust. I'm an engineering major and I have to go though this crap. Dealing with classes, parents and siblings, and the worst thing is that I have to go through mental and emotional crap! My name is Max Clarkson and my life is insane.

I was born in a suburban neighborhood on January 19, 1993. The home we have is pretty nice on the outside, but the family is crappy on the inside. We have money and all, which is a blessing, but in my point of view it seems like my parents don't care about us. I have twin siblings name Dean and Dillon. The two things I hate the most is that they are twins and they are older than me! They were born on April 22, 1991 and they bully me almost everyday! The only good thing they did for me when we were small was read to me, help me to study sometimes because they know that academics gets you money, and cook something whenever the parents don't feel like it. Every now and then they are nice to me, but it is on rare occasions. I'm 21 now and they are 23. They're going to Harvard while I'm going to an ordinary university. I hate that my brothers are smarter than me and better than me at almost everything!

They always get our parents attention, they always have something new to create, and they have a lot of talent. But when it comes to me, the only talents I have is singing, drawing, and playing my clarinet. My parents think that music and arts are a waste of time and don't make much money. I wish my parents can understand that money isn't everything. But now, in the present, my parents helped me get into school and I actually like the school I chose. The teachers were a headache, but I've made some good friends here. The only thing I hate is that I don't have a car and not too many people to talk to when it comes to personal subjects.

Anyway, today is going to be a major headache: I have a test in one of my other classes and I didn't get much sleep. Unfortunately, I only had five hours of sleep. I head into the classroom and sit by one of my friends/classmate Tyler. Tyler White is a straight A student and he stresses himself out about passing. I keep telling him 'Dude, you're gonna be fine' and I was right 90% of the time.

"Morning Max"

"Morning"

"Ready for the test?"

"Yeah, even though I only got like five hours of sleep, but its whatever".

Tyler looked at me with worried eyes. "Tyler, I'll be fine okay?"

He gave me a nod and went back into his concentration mode. He doesn't need to worry about me anyway, he has a lot on his plate as much as I do.

The teacher gave us the test and I looked at it with surprise. I thought the test was going to be very difficult, but from looking at it, it looks easy. I guess the five hours of sleep was worth it.

- hours later -

After the test Tyler and I hung out at Starbucks and talked about the test and what we could do this weekend.
" I was thinking that we can go hiking and afterwards we can play Halo, or Call of Duty"

"I'm up for it, I'm not a fan of Halo"

" That's fine. Is around 9 okay? "

" Sure"

" Nice, well I'm about to head home, where do you live on campus again?"

" I live in the dorms"

" Okay, do you want me to drop you off at your place?"

" Actually, could you drop me off at my friend's place? His name is Lorenzo"

"Alright, just direct me to him"

Tyler had dropped me off at Lorenzo's place, but when I got there, the room was loud and vibrant because of the speakers! "Lorenzo!! Why?!"

"What?!"

I ran to the radio and just punch the big button down for the darn thing to shut up.

" Dang it Lorenzo! Why do you have to play the music so loud?"

"Why do you have to ruin the fun?"

"Why do you want to lose your hearing?"

"Jerk"

"Cunt".

We always do this, so its normal for us to argue yet have fun at the same time.

"Hey, can I get some ice cream?"

"Ran out, hey come check this out" I came over to him and say a new game that came out. Guess what it was? SUPER MARIO 3d WORLD!!!

"Welp, we gotta get it"

"Yep".

After I sat everything down and got some ice cream for us, someone knocked on the door. Lorenzo said " Could you get that please? I think that's Alex and Bridgette"

I got up and opened the door for the girls and I looked at them. They both look pretty nice, but for some reason I couldn't get my eyes off of Alex. She was very pretty, and not being racist or anything, I wasn't into African American girls, but she can change my mind.

Alex said " Hey Lorenzo, who's your friend?"

" Max, this is Alex and Bridgette. Alex and Bridgette, this is Max"

I shook Bridgette's hand and she had a pretty strong grip on me. She was looking at me a little funny too ( Does she like me?). Anyway, I then shook Alex's hand and oh my goodness. Her hands are very soft and slender.

She said "Nice to meet you Max."

"Right back at cha."

We made eye contact and it lasted for almost five seconds. We let go when we notice that we haven't let go of each other. And we both felt a little embarrassed. Its a good thing Lorenzo and Bridgette didn't notice.

Wow, I've never been this captivated by anyone like this before. I had a feeling that I was looking at Alex none stop because she gave me a worried look and asked

"Are you okay Max? Is there something on my face?"

I wanted to kiss her cheek so much, but I tried to be a gentleman and told her " No, I'm fine."

She tilted her head to the side like she was a puppy. Dang it! Cuteness overload! I think I now understand the term "love at first sight", because I think I have fallen for her.

I like what I have made so far, but if anyone have any suggestions or would like to tell me a few mistakes I have made, please share on the comments. And please comment positively. Other than that, thanks for reading! And there are definitely parts to this and I will try to make them a little longer than 750 words, so basically this is going to be getting better and more awesome! See ya and have a blessed day! ^_^
