There was a time where I had you. But I wasn't aware of what I had, until - it became something else.
You waited for me even if I was blind. Even if I was stubborn. Even if I was the most rudest, most vile human being you could have possibly ever come across.
I can't believe you made it through that. You've seen all sides of me, and stayed. You waited until I realized, while crushing stones, I found a diamond. I'd like to thank you for that.
For all those times where I didn't appreciate your efforts. For those five years. For these five months. I'd like to thank you for each and every one of those moments, Brenden.
For waiting for me after school every day. For waiting for me to walk into your arms for a hug.
There's not much I can say about this, but, Bren, if you hadn't waited for me, all those times, I wouldn't have you. I wouldn't be gifted with one of the most precious human beings on this planet.
