The next morning I woke up really early considering it was a Saturday. I came downstairs and saw my aunt making breakfast.

'You know, you don't have to make breakfast for me.' I said.

'Well, I do have to spoil you a bit, don't I?' I smiled.

I got up and put on some clothes. It was too early for me to even think, than to put on a decent outfit. I opened my closet and realized that I grew out of everything. I wish I had someone to shop with. My aunt isn't a very reliable source when it comes to clothes. She once bought me a 2 sizes big sweater with a huge horse on it. It might be funny now, but I had to wear that for my whole 3rd year. I hoped my boobs would grow early so I don't have to wear it.

'Ugh, what am I gonna wear?'

I grabbed the first normal thing I saw which was a pair of dark jeans and a hoodie. I went downstairs to have breakfast.

'Mary, I have to get new clothes.' I said to my aunt. 'Do you know any girls that could help me with that?'

'Well, there's this Lydia Martin girl. I'm friends with her mom so.. I can get her to go. And I think she's friends with that Argent girl... What was her name? Alice, Allison..? Oh, never mind. But don't take me for my word.'

Believe me, I won't.

'It's okay' I said. 'I'll just ask Scott if he's friends with anyone that can help.'

'Okay dear, just eat your breakfast before you go.'

I wasn't that hungry so I ate some bacon and went outside. It was an amazing day. It was warm and the sun was shining. Though I still miss Los Angeles and my uncle a lot. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts, I didn't even watch where I was going.

'Hey, watch where you're going, psycho!'

There were two girls. Of course one started yelling at me and the other one was calming her down.

'It's okay, Lydia.' she was comforting her and then turned to me. 'Sorry about that.'

Huh, Lydia. Wasn't Auntie talking about some Lydia earlier?

'No, it's my fault.' I apologized.

'She's just really intense and nervous.' she continued explaining.

'No, I'm not!' Lydia screamed.

'Anyways, I'm Allison. Allison Argent. I don't think I've seen you around here or in school before.'

'Nice to meet you. I'm Jessica Turner. Well, I lived in Beacon Hills before, but just moved back.'

'Well, I'm glad you did! I hope we'll see each other again.' Allison said cheerfully.

'I hope so too.' I smiled.

We both went our own ways and I continued to Scott's house. The day wasn't really special. We hung out and went around town. We shared past experiences being werewolves and he told me everything that's been going on in the past years. I couldn't believe how much he and Beacon Hills changed. He told me about Derek and his family. I realized how much I actually missed Scott.

'So, Scotty, do you have a girlfriend?' I asked.

'Yeah, actually, I do.' he smiled.

'Oh, she isn't better than me, right? I couldn't stand that.' we laughed.

'Her name's Allison. Allison Argent. Everyone in her family are werewolf hunters.'

'Wow. You find a girl, finally, and her family is a werewolf hunting family? Oh God.'

'It's not that big of a problem. She still doesn't know, though.'

'Oh, harsh.' I said. 'Shouldn't you tell her that?'

'I'm gonna do it. Just not now.' Scott said.

'Well, it's your call.' I smiled.

I think he was more ashamed than scared. I don't think I've ever seen a werewolf and a hunter together. Though I do think he should be terrified of Allison's dad. I heard he was a tough one.

'Did you find anyone you like here in Beacon Hills?' Scott said while he was carving something into a tree.

'Well, not really.' Should I tell him about Derek? 'But I have my eye on one guy.' I smiled.

'He's a lucky guy.' he said. 'And you should probably tell me who he is cause I'm gonna drain it out of you one way or another.'

I laughed. 'Derek. Hale.'

Scott's facial expression went from happy to worried in one second.

'I don't think he's really good for you, Jess.' Scott said, kind of angrily. But the anger wasn't towards me.

'But he seems like a nice guy.'

'Yeah, until you actually meet him.' Oh, I've met him.

'But..' Scott interrupted.

'No but's. He's just not good, okay? I mean I can't run your life, but I don't wanna see you hurt.'

'I'm gonna get hurt, Scott. Dating Derek or some random guy, okay? It's my life. I've gained an immunity to it. I don't think I have that much emotion inside of me anyways. I blocked all of that out a long time ago. From being bullied, to my closest dying, to relationships ending badly. It's gonna happen. To me especially. I can't avoid it. So, I'd rather have opportunities and have a good time, than be careful and be a good girl. I'm not saying I'm gonna go around burning houses and making trouble. But I don't wanna sit at home crying either.'

'I get it. I'm just trying to look out for you.' Scott said.

'I know. And you have no idea how grateful I am for that.' I hugged him. 'Oh and I saw Allison today. She's really nice. Look after her.' I smiled.

'I will.' he said.

I came home and went upstairs. I couldn't wait to lay down and forget about all my worries. I said goodnight to my aunt and fell asleep.
