Second Day: July 2 (Chapter 5)

~Saeko Pov~

I had my eyes closed thinking of what happened last night as I stand near Natsu. "And now, what you've all been waiting for, the second day of the Grand Magic Games has begun!" Chapati announced. "Our guest on this second day is renowned reporter for the Weekly Sorcerer, Jason-san!" I sighed. Not him...why me!

"Cool!" Jason shouted. "Ok the competition part has began! And its name is...Chariot! This competition takes place on top of a line of vehicles, with the idea being to reach the goal without falling off! As the vehicles are always moving, just one moment of cheerfulness could lead to misstep! The vehicles will wend their way around the sightseeing spots of Crocus, but which team will arrive here at Domus Flau?!" Everyone in the stadium, you can watch the race here on Lacrima Vision!" Chapati announced. "Cool!" Does this guy ever stop saying cool? I looked at Natsu, Gajeel and Sting looking sick. "Motion sickness." I giggled. "W-what are you laughing about s-shorty!?" Gajeel manage to say without puking.

"You three." I chuckled. "Saeko looks fine and she's not moving from her spot at all! What's going on!?!?" Chapati announced. I was gonna move on ahead until I got knocked down by the three idiots with them on top of me. "Eh!?" I squeak out of shock. "G-get the fuck off me! You three sick bastards!" I yelled punching and pushing them off. I sighed. "Move....forward!" I looked at Natsu and Gajeel forcing their self to keep going. "Lame...you're totally serious even though you can't draw on any power...Go ahead, I'll give this match to you." Sting. "After this one, we're gonna keep winning anyway. We're not gonna miss one or two points." Sting said. "Don't cry about that one point later, kid!" Gajeel said as I watched. "Would you answer me one thing?" Sting said getting their attention. "Why did you decided to participate in the tournament?" I looked at Sting.

"They did it for their friends...their family." I said but it only came out as a whisper. "I wouldn't believe you were the same Fairy Tail from back in the day. Are you worried about the strength of your guild? About your public image? The Fairy Tail I know we're more like...They did everything at their own pace...They didn't give a damn about what people thought of them." Sting said. "For...their friends." Sting looked shocked. "Seven years...all that time...they were waiting for us...no matter how painful it was...no matter how sad...Even if people made fun of 'em...they held on...They held on...They protected the guild...for their friends...and now we're gonna show everyone...the proof that Fairy Tail's been walking on all this time! So keep on goin'!" Natsu yelled in a heart warming speech. "Natsu..." The guild said though their tears.

N-Natsu... I felt tears fall down my face as Natsu got his first point and I walk up to him holding out my hand. "S-Saeko?!" I smiled as he took my hand. "You did great Natsu-san." I said with a few tears in my eyes and took him to the infirmary. "Good luck Fairy Tail." I said before leaving and walking to Blue Pegasus side. "Natsu...you never stop to amaze me." I said quietly as walk up to Eve. "Hey Saeko." I smiled. "Sorry I didn't help much for ya team Eve-kun" I looked down and felt him pat my back. "It's fine, Saeko." I smiled as I watch Blacksnake and Toby's fight. "They're making bets...interesting...maybe I should too." I mumbled at the end then face planted.

"How the hell did you not realize that you had your sock as a necklace!?!" I yelled but stopped when Blacksnake ripped up Toby's sock, that just pissed me off. "That asshole!" I yelled before Eve, Ren and Hibiki could grab me I already appeared in between Blacksnake and Toby. "What's this!? It appears that Saeko appeared to the scene, what's gonna happen now." I glared at Blacksnake and punched him sending him crashing in the wall making a large dent in it. "Whoa! Saeko send Blacksnake crashing into the stadium wall without even using any magic!" Chapati announced shocked. "Toby...come  on..I'll fix your sock for you." I said sweetly as I collect every piece and walked with Toby to Lamia Scale. "Elfman vs Bacchus!" This is going to be interesting. I finished fixing Toby's sock. "Here you go Toby all fix!" I handed Toby his fix sock but only to get tackled into a hug. "T-Toby...p..please let me go." I felt the heat raise up me face as I felt nothing on me anymore and I sat up straight. "Stay off my girl!" I looked at Lyon and blushed more.
