Chapter 1

Alison's POV

Okay, my name is Alison but most people call me Ali. I'm 18 years old, no I'm not in college yet... It's just now the summer!!! I don't go to college till the fall!! I have a twin brother, Adam,(older by 3 minutes), and pregnant older sister, Amber, she's 28... We live with my mom.. My dad was a drunk and liked to abuse me when no one was around... He left us when I was 14... He took all the money and the car... We struggled but my mom is a nurse practitioner so we got back on our feet.. I love my mom... She's so chill...

"Ali... Ali... Ali..." My best friend Nate said trying to get my attention.

"Whatcha want Mr. Potato?" I asked. I've called him that ever since we were little... We watched Toy Story and he said he loved Mrs. Potato so I started calling him Mr. Potato... Cuz they're married!! (Get it?)

"Ugh.. Stop calling me that.." He complained.

"Nope." I said popping the p.
I would stop but it aggravates him so much so I'm just gonna keep on doing it.

"Fine but like I was saying, we're going to this club called Freedom tomorrow night... Blu will let you and I in since he loves us, and I'm bringing Daniel." He said excitedly. You see, Nate is kinda gay... His boyfriend is Daniel James... I think he's awesome... Plus his name is the same as my last name!!! (A/N) (I chose him to be gay because I had a guy bestfriend and we stopped being friends bc he got a girlfriend.. A gay dude (Daniel) won't get jealous bc they know their partner is gay!!

"Okay that's fine but I'm gonna be a little late I work at the cafe that night.." I said.

"Okay that'll be fine but make sure you come!!" He said while laying down on my bed. (It's his birthday, that's why we're going to the club)

"Ali, I'm going to work. Nate can stay over if he likes!" My mom yelled from downstairs. All my family likes Nate..

"Okay, love you!" I yelled back.

"Love you too honey, you too Nate!" She yelled back, then she left.

"I love your mom!" Nate exclaimed.
What can I say? My mom's great.
Nate had to answer a call from Daniel so I just laid back on my bed.

When he came back in I told him," I have to work tonight."

"Well you better get done a little early!! My bday clubbing trip is changed to today, Daniel planned for us to go to his moms house tomorrow, sorry boo." He said while running out the door.

"Ugh." I groaned. Well work starts in 30 minutes, so I started getting ready. Jeans a niceish shirt that all I had to wear until I got there. They make you wear a little apron thing to put straws and napkins and stuff in... Yeah it's weird.

(I'm gonna skip all the detail from work)

Okay so my boss told me that if I wanted to be let off early I had to take the trash out.. No big deal right? Wrong! It's dark and in an ally!!
But here I am.. In a dark ally. *bam*
What the fudge nugget was that? All of a sudden I was pushed up against a wall.

"Hey there, ya mind letting me go I have a clubbing Bday party to be at." I said calmly. I'm a smart aleck. And it's probably gonna get me killed.

"No, we're gonna have some fun first." He said in a rough voice. This guy is like 45 like no joke!

"Awe are we gonna play with Legos and toy cars?" I asked sarcastically.

"No we aren't!" He yells. Okay I get it but he didn't have to yell.

"Well you didn't have to yell! I'm right in front of you!" I screamed back. Probably not a great choice. I could see the rage in his eyes.

"Why aren't you screaming for help? They always scream for help." He said frantically.

"Well if you loosen your grip I'll scream and cry." I told him.

"Really?" He asked hopefully?

"Yeah I'll squirm and yell." I said in his ear. I'm not really gonna do all that. My brother taught me self defense just in case this happened and he wasn't around. He loosened his grip and I twisted his arm backwards and put him in a head lock.

"What are you doing?" He grunted out.
I was cutting off his air supply.

"I'm defending myself." I whispered in his ear. I heard someone clapping and I looked up.

"Nice trick you pulled on him... But I'll take it from here, stand back there." He said and pointed.

"Um how about I just leave." I said then started to walk off.

He stopped me and said,"No I'm gonna need your help in case this goes wrong so stand over there behind the dumpster." He told me.
So I did. Then 3 guys came to the ally.

The old creepy guy said,"You thought I wouldn't bring back up?" He laughed evilly.

"You might wanna let him go." Said one of the other guys.

"Fine, but I promise you I will find you and I will kill you." He said strongly.

"Well you can hope..." The creepy guy said then they walked off. But the guy that told me that he needed my help stayed.

"You can come out now." He said.
To be honest I'm a little scared to come out I mean they sound like gang members. But I came out anyway.

"Are you part of a gang?" I asked. I didn't think he would answer but he did.

"Well technically I'm the leader of a gang, and I need your help." He said.

"Why do you need my help?" I asked him.

"I'll tell you later princess." He said then he injected something in my arm and the world went black.
