The Beginning

Emma's pov

Emma starts off her day as usual. Waking up and getting ready for school.
As every other morning she brushes her teeth and heads down stairs for breakfast. " Morning mom"
"Morning sweety" as the plate with waffles is set in front of her she begins eating. She checks her phone to see who has texted her.

Susan: Hey, morning. U up?
Emma: yeah what's up

She sets her phone down and goes back to eating.
"Emma be home today as soon as you can, we have to go grocery shopping"
'Ughh' she mentally says
The last thing she needs is to hurry, after all that's what she was taught. She gets her things together after setting her plate in the sink."Bye mom" she calls out closing the door behind her. Her dad Ijsed to drive her to school but he walked out on her mom and her when she was 9. Now she only sees him on the weekends. As she begins walking to school she gets a text.

Susan: Sorry about that. My brother was getting ready and was using the bathroom. Wanna walk together to school?
Emma: Haha sure I'll stop by.

Susan and Emma were the best friends since 3rd grade but when Susan moved they drifted apart but since she moved back they now go to the same school and are close as ever.
Since Susan lived a few blocks down Emma took her time.

Cody: hey
Emma: hey what's up
Cody: not much. What you doin after school
Emma: Shopping
Cody: sounds fun
Emma: grocery shopping
Cody: oh
Emma: anyways I'll se you at school
Cody: fine,bye

Cody and Emma knew each other since 6th grade but were pretty close. Little did she know he was practically in love with her and the only reason she didn't know is because he hid it all to well.

Emma reached Susan's house and walked in "I'M HOME" She called out.

Susan's pov

As I put my scarf on I heard some one call out "I'M HOME" 'classic' I thought. "What do you want chips or pie" I offered her. "Candy" she says pulling out a chocolate and popping it in her mouth. " We better get going if we want to catch Blake". I've known him since kinder so we were pretty close.
"Fine lets go"

As we get to school we find Cody almost instantly.
"Hey can I ask you something? Will you like to go out sometime."
