The pain it causes
Is excruciating
I feel the need to scream
You left my life
In a poof of smoke
And now I feel
As If I did something wrong
This pain is unnecessary
It happens all the time
I can't erase you from my memory
As hard as I may try
It never works
And the tears come again
Terrified to forget
Forbidden to remeber
Stuck at a crossroad
Needing to be met
I realize now that it may never happen
Perhaps too late
Because the pain it Causes
Is the worst ever
Dedicated to those people that come into your life, make themselves comfortable, then all of the sudden up and leave in a poof of nothing like you meant nothing to them.
